We hired Able Asphalt to repave our driveway. They replaced the driveway 9/20/22. Since then it has been falling apart and washing away. We called them several times to come look at the driveway and they did not respond. They came today 7/20/23 and refused to fix the driveway and walked away mid conversation. All we want is the driveway fixed, redone, or money back so we can go with another company. The driveway was over $10,000 and we waited over 6 months for them to even start the project.

On 3/16/22 the ********** got a quote for $10,179.00 which included having a new driveway and re-installing cobblestone and installing shells for boat area, the ********** accepted the quote and job was completed on 9/20/22..

The ********** paid and were very satisfied with the job preformed.

June 15,2023 **** called office stating that he was having a problem with tire marks, flaking and driveway too soft. I explained that this is normal especially with the heat weather we been having, I told him I would send someone out to look at it as soon as we had some availability. On 6/26/23 **** called again thought we forgotten about him, I explained that we are extremely busy and someone would be out to look at the driveway, he got very angry and said we need to come fix this right away or he was getting an Attorney. Finally made appt with **** for 7/18/23 and then we had to cancel due to a family emergency. On 7/20/23 called and confirmed that **** with Able Asphalt would be out.. As **** arrived on site **** begun yelling and swearing that his driveway was all messed up, and that we needed to redo his driveway all over again, **** said calm down no need to be disrespectful and lets talk, **** calmed down for few as **** begun taking picture's and walking driveway site with **** and explained to him that what he sees is excessive tire marks in same areas from turning and that the rest of driveway looks good. **********************, swearing to point where **** felt threatened and so he walked away and left site. We have never experienced this with customers in our years of being in business. Very unnecessary.

on 7/24/23 We,  Able Asphalt called sales rep from asphalt plant and explained situation. Sales rep said he would be out to site to ***** and let us know his thoughts on driveway.

    Thank You

The explanation of the what happened at ************** false.  There was no swearing involved in the discussion that took place between *** and ****. My son was witness to the interactions between *** and **** and no swearing was involved.  *** was trying to explain the situation and showing **** handfuls of asphalt that had washed away off the driveway and **** kept saying I will not redo the driveway and walking away. The driveway needs to be repaired, no one from asphalt company has assessed the situation as of yet (7/25/23) Thank you.
