Met with this comp. in September 2023 to redo my porch. In October 26, 2023 I gave them $10,000.00 which they cashed. The guy goes on vacation for 2 weeks. His business partner kept making excuses why hes not working on my porch. Thanksgiving week is when they broke down my front porch stating from October that this would only take a week to complete. They knew from day one the only reason I agreed to having them work on my front porch is because it would only take a week and Im a caregiver to my 96 yr old mom and my back door stairs are narrow/ not easy to help her up the stairs. He would come a few hours here and there not paying attention to how I want my porch done. His business partner stopped responding to my texts/ calls. After 5 months of stressing me out without a front exit in case of an emergency he completes the porch in march 2024. I do not like the way it came out which his business partner assured me that they wouldnt do anything without checking with me. Now the business partner who ignored me for 3 months is texting me wanting the balance amount and if I dont give them the balance she will put a lien on my property. Which I dont understand how they can do that without hearing both sides of the parties. He has a cement block holding my porch. My stairs are croaked and I never got the columns that the business partner asked me to pick out from a catalog. Theres other issues I dont like/ hard to explain. The excuses he gave me was: he doesnt have any workers to help him/ which I found out he didnt pay them. The other excuses was the weather which we had a good winter and if you can complete it in a week it should of been done. The 3rd excuse was how expensive the materials are which his business partner told me she bought the materials back in October 2023. This is unacceptable that he took my money and ignored me for months then decides in March 2024 to do a rush job that Im not pleased with the end result.
