EDIT: Shortly after writing this review, the nice guy who picked up the car called me yelling and swearing about this review.WORST SERVICE EVER! Avoid if possible. Unfortunately my car broke down last night. The tow truck that came to tow my car was super nice. He warned me that the cost would be about $170. The next morning trying to get ahold of someone was a nightmare. It was a game of phone tag for a few hours. We were told that the total to release the car was somehow $272 and needed to be paid in cash. Once we arrived, during business hours, the office was locked and it took a few minutes to get ahold of someone. Waited nearly 20 minutes for someone to come back. The lady, ***** (at least thats the name she gave me), was absolutely RUDE. She requested my registration and license in which the registration was in my car AND REFUSED ALLOWING ME TO GO TO MY CAR. Which is a small storage area, and she was standing near me along with someone else. Meanwhile, the guy had to search my car for it not knowing where the registration was mixed with a bunch of paperwork I had in the glove compartment. ***** wouldnt allow us inside to pay, so I had to pay outside with cash. She walked away without saying a word. Worst interaction with a human I have ever had. Not too sure how shes allowed to work in customer service with her horrific attitude.Save yourself the time and avoid this place! :)

I DO NOT RECCOMEND TO GO HERE!!!!Woman in the front office is higly unprofessional, rude, miserable. I had my ****** towed less than 2 miles at 6:02pm. I picked it up before 10:00am the following morning and was charged 2 days along with fees! That isn't even the kicker... THEY LEFT MY BIKE ON ALL NIGHT SO WHEN I WENT TO PICK IT UP THE BATTERY DIED! I politely asked ********************" if they had jumper cables we could use, he replied with "I dont know lwt me check. I dodnt even know your bike was even here." Then comes back and stated that they didn't even have ANY jumper cables in a whole entire tow and repair shop. Very unprofessional and inconsiderate of an (and I'm being nice) establishment. I knew right when the blonde woman in the office greeted me what type of experience I was gpimg to have.

This is a criminally negligent organization. When my son when to pick up his car, he was surrounded by Dartmouth Towing employees and harassed until he take down his negative ****** review (which he had left on a prior occasion for a previous tow). My son, a college student in the area, then called Dartmouth police to resolve the situation after suffering mental anguish due to the harassment. When the car was finally retrieved, there was $2250 worth of damage to the undercarriage. Upon further investigation, Dartmouth police determined that although the damage appeared to be caused by the tow, they could not prove it. Dartmouth towing is on the list of towing companies used by the Dartmouth PD. There are an incredibly high number of scathing reviews for this company which makes me wonder how they are still in business if other than being connected to either someone in the government, or with a criminal organization, or both.

My daughter got into a car accident on 5/15/22. The police called a tow truck, happened to be from Dartmouth Towing. The owners daughter from Dartmouth Towing started calling my daughter every day harassing her to come get her car, that it was wracking up storage fees. We tried to tell her our hands were tied because of insurance, she kept talking over us and getting angry. We told her we would be there as soon as possible to get the car. She suggested we go stand outside the other parties (in the accident) house and wait for the police. I have no idea what she was talking about. She was rude. We called and found a junkyard to take the car from Dartmouth Towing. On 6/1 my husband called to find out how much they charge per mile for towing, as it looked like they were charging $500 for 1 mile tow. She said she didn't know and to call her back first thing in the morning and she would tell him. He called her on 6/2 like she said and she yelled at him, wouldn't let him speak and hung up the phone. Me and my daughter met the junkyard at Dartmouth Towing and we went in and I spoke to the owners daughter, and she was just as rude in person. I was angry, but kept my voice down as that doesn't solve anything, she said I seemed nervous and that I should go outside and compose myself, very rude and uncalled for, she didn't like the fact that I told her I was also on the phone call with my husband and he was not yelling at her and was in fact being respectful. I then asked for an itemized **** and she refused unless I paid first. We had to call the police, who got one for us, but it was hand written with fees that she not once ever mentioned. In the end, we paid (not until she at the last moment said it was cash only), in which time we had to go to the nearest bank, came back and paid. She is just a rude, horrible person. I do not recommend them at all. I've also seen some pretty bad reviews from other people on *******
