    Hired ******* ****** in August of 2024 to repair front stairs and lattice work and to install stairs by back of house that were taken down (wood). Also asked to replace a pane of glass in house and to do inside work. Started in September 2024, came inconsistently and intermittently promising to come, but wouldn't show up for weeks. Replaced the glass pane, never finished back steps or front stairs. Left areas a mess and unfinished. Did not show up from early November until right before Christmas. Did not respond to email. Sent an email on 12/20/24 of my intention to bring him to court. He showed up the day after on 12/21/24 to do inside work that was already completed by someone else . Would not let him in. Stated ''there was nothing he could do about stairs due to the weather''. All the while, he still advertised on Next Door app telling people he would be available for outside projects in early December. He had no intention on completing the jobs. Paid 4800 for work he did not complete. Want reimbursement. He is not honorable, lies constantly, he also broke the lock and door step on back door when he was unauthorized to go in that room. He plugged in an extension cord when there was an outside outlet less than 10 feet from where he was working. Left a mess on property, left stairs wide open so animals were coming in and out of the space. I have the contract and checks that were cashed by him. Will have to pay someone else to complete the projects he was paid to do. ********* *****

    I regret how this job went. I did drop the ball on this, only she
    has made many claims here that are simply not true. She never once made
    any comment, complaint or any communication expressing dissatisfaction
    with the work up until 12/20/24, when she told me of her intention to
    take me to court. When I did received that email, I was completely
    shocked, and I immediately responded with a long email offering to
    finish all work and come to a resolution. Her response made it very
    clear that she had no interest in allowing me to rectify and address her
    complaints.
    I have been in business for 4 years and have completed
    many projects for my customers. I would never knowingly leave a job
    unfinished. ********* has made so many baseless claims in this statement
    it would be challenging to address all of them. If you have any
    questions or need clarification on anything please let me know.
