    Hired to fix a sidewalk. He showed up, quoted the job and seemed like a stand up guy. I paid a 50% deposit $1,250 in November of 2019. When he showed up to do the work, he had a bucket and a shovel (very odd) and was by himself. Another payment of $750 was due then and I gave it to him (shame on me). He left saying that he needed more equipment, He came back once more to talk to the city about the city requirements to be sure the job was done correctly. After that, I could never get him to come back again. He would make excuses or not answer my emails/texts/calls. I did remain patient because of the pandemic but it didn't pay off. When I finally asked for my money back, he claimed to have man hours on the job which is 100% untrue. I gave him a poor review on Home Advisor and he tried to bribe me by saying he would refund my money if I took the review down. I have tried ad nauseam to get my money back to no avail. I have ALL of our correspondence And now I lost my sidewalk deposit of $9,000 from the city. This company/guy is a total sham! At this point, I don't expect anything. But, I feel a need to warn others.
