      Purchased coal on 11/8/23 - called every few months to find out when it would be delivered - and was always told we would receive it the next month - they never followed up with us, we always had to call them. Finally decided we wanted a refund and to cancel the order on 10/3/24 - was given and attitude and they told us they don't do business with Discover card anymore and would mail us a check. Called to inquire on the check on 10/17/24 since we still had not gotten it yet, was given and attitude was told it was on its way. Called again on 10/23/24 was again given and attitude and got a follow up call from the owner who also gave us an attitude. I suggested she stop payment on check and re-issue and her response was I would have to pay for that. After a debate with her I finally got her to say she would re-issue if we hadn't received it by 10/31/24. Obviously we never received it (I'm sure it was never mailed) and they did refund us on 11/1/24. Customer service doesn't exist at this business and making people wait a month for a 612.00 refund on money they have had for a year is not right. Giving an attitude to the customer on your shortcomings and mistakes is also wrong on so many levels. My advice to other consumers is run don't walk away from this business - read the reviews - same story over and over again, not the same business they were a few years ago.

      I have a similar situation with pellets and lack of product delivery and after several requests for a refund, we still have not received our $1100 refund. “It’s in the mail” responses for the last 2 months.

      Ordered Vermont wood pellets and Canawick bricks on 11/3/2023. My credit card was charged $947. I was told that delivery would be by December. I called on 12/21/2023 and was told the delivery could not be made and a date could not be given but possibly in January. I called on 1/18/2024 and was told that maybe the product would be ready for delivery in February, call back.After calling on 2/23/24 and given the same story- they don't know when the product will be available. I cancelled the order and asked for a refund. I was told that the credit card machine was not working and that a check would be mailed to me. I've called three times since, today 3/6 being the most recent call. Each time was told the check would go out soon, the owners would be told and a check would be issued.I would not have put up with this obvious prevarication for so long other than that I initially needed the pellets/bricks badly and I had trust in the company (have been doing business with them over fourteen years).They have had my $947.00 since 11/3/2023. I need the refund now.

      Robbins Garden Supply charged me an extra $10 fee for a credit card order for pellets. After waiting over 2 months for Robbins to deliver, and them telling me every time I called to check, they had no idea when they could. I had to cancel, and order from someone else. They refunded me but still kept the $10 fee. The other company delivered the next day. Horrible customer service.

      This Customer made a purchase in the store at the same time he ordered pellets.

      His Sales Slip clearly says Store Merchandise for $10.00 that is why that was not refunded.
