      Initial transaction: 3/29/23: $6312.50 Second transaction: 11/13/23: $******* I provided this company with DEC certified water testing done on my home. Company reviewed, stated their origins F150V and WC 100 systems would resolve my water issues of high iron, high sulfates, rotten egg smell, hardness and increased sediment. I paid for this install $6312.50 on 3/29/23. My water was not improved and actually worsened, turned brown with high sediment/water stains throughout sinks, toilets, etc. I sent the company pictures. They had additional water testing performed by the same DEC certified lab that I had originally used showing continued elevated but worsening of iron levels after water softening, continued high sulfate levels, new high sodium levels. The marked rotten egg smell has never improved. It was this smell that was the number 1 priority original complaint. The company refused to return any of my calls or emails for months to assist with this continued unimproved set of water problems. They finally contacted me and told me I needed additional equipment (5 micron filters, reverse osmosis) and I paid the company an additional $ ******* on 11/13/23. Again no improvement. Again prolonged set of calls to this company without response until I wrote a poor but fair review. They contacted me and agreed to install an additional tank ISM 200. The water is unchanged, no improvement, HORRIBLE smell throughout the house still, stains and sediments on fixtures/toilets. I have contacted the company several times by phone, email, certified mail without response. I have contacted another company who has a better plan to improve the water but will not work with me as long as the Aerus/Miner filtration system is in place. I have requested the company remove their system, and refund me to no avail. Are you please able to assist. Thank you.

      The company recently called me and told me that they were not responsible for the lack of efficacy of their equipment because I did not shock my well. They never formally recommended that I shock the well, but suggested I look into it when their equipment was not taking care of my water problems.  When I called the original well company who installed the well to see if they would shock the well, I was informed that I should NOT shock the well because of my iron and manganese problem. Shocking the well with bleach will ACTIVATE iron and manganese making the problem worse and turn the water brown. More proof that this company does not have the proper knowledge or equipment to treat water. The company is still not responding to the complaint. thank you...**** ******

      I am rejecting this response because:
      There was no formal request to bleach my well. It was merely suggested. When I called the ************ who installed the well, as well as another more trusted vendor to render an opinion, they both strongly informed me NOT to bleach the well. The chemical reason behind this is that when a well has iron and manganese (which mine does) bleaching the well will Oxidize and subsequently activate the iron and the manganese. The water will turn brown and cause further corrosion and staining. In addition, bleaching the well is only a temporary solution to the smell problem. Bleaching the well in this particular case would cause a worse problem than the one I am already dealing with. Therefore, I do not accept Aerus response after having researched their recommendation ( Which was an inappropriate recommendation in this particular case for Chemical reasons stated above).
