      On the check out it charged me $9,97 twice to my bank account, I was not given a receipt. I asked to speak to the manager and he took my name down if I get charged twice to come back , I told the manager I don’t leave near , I am about 2 hours away , he said go to another Goodwill and they will refund my money if I got charged twice , I went to another Goodwill near my home and they refused to give me my money back called the manager Angel back and he said that has never happened to anyone but me and try to blame on me for charging me twice for my purchase and not giving me a receipt.

      I am advised by the staff at by that the customer ultimately was not charged twice and that numerous attempts were made to reach the customer to offer her a gift certificate in order to acknowledge an unfortunate situation and to show our appreciation of her patronage.  These attempts went unanswered. Further, a strategy is being implemented in all of our retail locations to address the situation when a system generated receipt is unavailable.  Miriam M, Board President
