    I completely agree this campground has changed so dramatically the new people running the place are rude. They think everyone is "stealing" something from them the feeling is wierd! My family has had very bad experiences here and with front office. They will Ban you if they don't like you or you write an honest review with anything they don't agree with about the campground.Completely inflexible and doesn't listen nor even try.they just want their almighty $$$$

    Dishonest business owners. I accepted a credit instead of a refund for a Covid related reservation cancellation. The whole campground was ultimately unavailable to tent campers for two years because of Covid restrictions. They retroactively placed restrictions on the credit that were never agreed to and now refuse to honor it. Tried to support a local business in a tough time, my mistake apparently be wary.

    In 2020, this guest cancelled his reservation under ***** and said he would use the funds towards his stay in 2021. In 2021, he did not contact us to book his reservation. He had 400 nights of camping available to him over 2022 and 2023 and he chose not to call and book his reservation. Industry wide, the available funds would expire after the first year. By 2024, the funds expired and were no longer available.

    The manager at this campsite is really rude and inflexible. The campsite has a policy that you cannot cancel a reservation within a 7 day window from your stay. I canceled within that window due to the fact that my spouse contracted covid. Instead of refunding the money for our stay under these exceptional circumstances, they offered to allow us to use the reservation after labor day up until Nov. 1st. Unfortunately, my job doesn't permit me to stay during that time period. After explaining those circumstances, the manager said "I'm sorry I can't make you happy" and hung up. She was indecent and disrespectful. I want others to know that this is the type of person you'd be dealing with should a problem arise.

    While on the phone with ****, her wife took the phone and began to berate me. Our cancellation policy requires 7 days written notice to cancel and be refunded. She cancelled outside the cancellation period. As a courtesy to her, we offered her to use her deposit another time this season, right up to November 1st. That's ******************************************* town. Then she said WELL I'LL JUST COME NOW with COVID. And I said we will not receive you. You are not going to get all the other guests/staff in our campground sick! Frankly, I was appalled! She continued to berate and scream at me until I said I am ending the call and hung up. I never said I can't make you happy. That's untrue. She is trying to get something that she is not entitled to.
