    I ordered a garage door from this business on April 5, 2023 and paid my 50% deposit of $2,521.88. ***** (owner) said it would be **** weeks. I started following up with him after that, asking where my door was and got no response. I started just asking for my deposit back, no reply. On July 19, he finally responded saying he has my door and it would be installed in 2 weeks. Then he stopped communicating with me again. Finally he acknowledged my texts on Oct 2 and apologized and said he would give me my money back via check or Venmo. I provided him my Venmo info immediately. It is now November 6 and he has not responded to me since then or sent my money back despite many follow ****

    I contracted with Garage Doors Plus on 6/13/2022 for the special order doors: **** Model 663 long recessed Panel per invoice #****, and paid $3600. Originally I wanted to convert from 2 side by side single garage doors to a single double garage door. Owner ********************* advised me that to do that I would need to have a support beam across the roof line installed to accommodate the single door and would also need to move electrical that was located in between the 2 existing garage doors. Made sense to me. He told me I could get 2 new single doors without doing any modifications. I decided to go with 2 single doors because I didn't want to have to hire ********* and electrician. My sister died the week I paid my deposit so I wanted as little hassle as possible. ***** made multiple, at least 4, appointments with me to do work and then no call / no show. In frustration I posted on local city website without mentioning his company name. He finally came to do installation this week and told me I need to move electrical and built in shelf to get 2 single doors. He did not tell me this before. If he had told me I would need to hire and electrician and ********* to do modifications for 2 single doors I would not have moved forward or I would have gone for the single door which is what I really wanted. Anyway, now he is angry and won't deal with me. He has my doors and my $3600. I want my money back or the doors. I asked him to do one or the other and his response to me via messenger was "After all the ridiculousness that you caused, Im not going to, and I dont have to do a ******* thing you say. Thanks so much for reaching out. Have a great day."

    I have not heard from the business in response to my complaint. ********************* has both my $3600 and the garage doors he ordered on my behalf through Atlantic Doors Distributor in Sandwich. He nows refuses to interact with except me except in insulting and threatening texts.  ************** assured me in September that he had received my special order doors and then proceeded to schedule and miss 4 confirmed installation appointments - no call/no show, the last being Oct 18, 2022.  In an effort to help me, a ****** contact called ************** directly and I was happy that he did show up on Oct 19. After several hours I went to check on his progress and it was then he proceeded to tell me that I need to do carpentry and electrical work on the structure in order for him to complete the installation. The reason I moved ahead with the project in **** was because he explicitly told me that the 2 door model I selected would fit correctly without any modifications. He gave me incorrect information in ****. I would never have given him the $3600 check in **** and I would have consulted with an electrician and ********* before moving forward. On Oct 19, 2022 in my garage ************** became irate when I told him that he had not told me that I needed to modify the existing structure. He became very angry and aggressive so I contacted the police for my safety because I felt threatened and insulted. **************************** took down my new doors and removed the installation work he completed and left.  I tried to reason with him but he was very angry. I had every intention of paying him for his work but instead he chose not to interact with me in a civil way.I would like my $3600 returned.

    We had two new garage doors installed, and one of them doesn't work. I have emailed and called several times and left voicemails but am getting no response except for a response to my first email saying he would get me into his schedule the following week. Two weeks have gone by and radio silence, despite my persistent emails and calls. In my last email and voice mail I let ***** know that I would be contacting the BBB if I didn't hear back from him, and still no response. Super aggravating, especially since now I will need to pay ANOTHER contractor to come and fix Garage Doors Plus's work.

    ********************* from garage door plus from *********** took a down payment of $3000 from my client and myself I would like my down payment back as soon as possible
