Now l know why Golden Riders is not BBB accredited! Golden Riders (************) or more accurately, *************** runs the sleaziest operation in NE! We have used GR for almost 10 years and after COVID, the service has just fallen off a cliff. This morning was the last straw. Let me explain: several months ago, we booked a school group for their annual trip to **. 15 hours before the pick up, Mr. ** canceled the trip because of lack of communication with **. Having just now reviewed all of the emails, of course, the one that said, We will hold a bus for your ************** will be your driver jumped out at me. ***** never asked for a *********** (foolishly) thought that he was terribly busy & having worked with them for years, knew we were good for it. He used my misplaced trust as a weapon against ******* client. Then, as Im certain Mr. ** got a request (as it is one of the busiest weeks of the season) he outright lied about DOT ************************** (l have a CDL & am WELL acquainted with the law) as part of his deceitful rationale for canceling our trip - did l mention 15 hours before pick up? Bottom line: this shady operation held a gun to our head last year demanding full payment BEFORE the trip, even though l had paid, in full, for the cancelled COVID trip the year before (which they held In credit). As the price of diesel had gone up, he had to understandably increase his price. But he threatened to cancel that trip, too. Are you seeing a pattern, here? He then took a reservation from (at the time) a loyal customer, but hedged his bets that another, more lucrative gig would materialize on one of the busiest weeks of the season, lied about why he canceled it, offered no assistance in trying to resolve the issue (which, as an aside, ANY reputable business would do). *************** is a scam artist and Golden Riders should be ashamed of themselves AND avoided at all hazard. If they would do this to a loyal customer why would you think youre special?
