    On 11/6/2023, I hired the Car Keys company to fix an issue with my car. For $245, the company was supposed to add a new ignition switch and code the key. They also were meant to provide a new key, program it, and reset the whole system. Three days later, the issue continued. I called the company, and the owner said someone would return but no one did. In the following days, I called, left messages, sent texts, and visited the store front in person to no response. On 11/17/2023, I called and left a voice message informing them I would give 1 week for the issue to be fixed as I require my car for work or I would take legal action. The employee who conducted the initial repair called me back and told me he would come by to fix the issue on 11/20/2023 which again did not happen. I have been struggling getting to and from work and would like this resolved as soon as possible.

    Better Business Bureau:I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # ********. Please add your rejection comments below; if you do not provide any details, your complaint will be closed as Answered. 

    While Car Keys has claimed that they attempted to make contact with me multiple times, this is not true. They claim to have knocked on my door multiple times to no answer, but the appropriate course of action would have been to contact me as the customer to set up an appointment or time to meet. It is unreasonable to appear at one's home, if this in fact occurred, without prior notification, especially since I had not received contact from them since filing this complaint. I would like to reiterate that I still am having the same issue with my car and it is affecting my daily life. I would still like a resolution to include the service promised to be completed if possible, at this point. Thank you.
