    My husband and I signed a contract with ******** Contracting for a home addition. Our building permit was under ***********************- owner of Somerville Plumbing and Heating. Our contract stated the project would *********** months. Over 16 months later, our project is still not complete. We still have an open building permit through the town on ******* ** and inspections have yet to take place. The work that was promised to us has not been completed. A few examples of the work that is not complete includes- finishing work, built ins,fireplace functioning, professional painting, doors being hung, garage door being finished/fixed, basement ****** columns fixed, and cleanup of *************************** that have been left behind. The owner of this business, our contractor- ******************************* has stopped communicating with us and we have not seen him in months. Multiple attempts have been made to get in touch with ***********************, whose name is on our building permit, and he has never returned any calls or made any effort to back in touch with us.
