    DO NOT HIRE THIS THEIF!!! I hired Gordy to do a chimney liner for my nee furnace. He let me know a few weeks later that the check I gave him bounces. I had an issue with an automatic bill I forgot about. I met him the next day and gave him cash for the full amount plus money yo cover the bounced check fee for a total of $1470. Right after I gave him the cash he struck up a conversation and after a few mins we parted ways and he never gave me a receipt. He seemed like an honest guy so I didn't second guess myself. Well he's not honest. He's a horrible person and businessman. I just got a call from a check cashing place that he cashed my check in and he never went to pay them for the check or tell them that the check was no longer valid. Shame on me for not getting a receipt but I never would have imagined myself in this situation. They're not threatening to take me to court and they advised me to take Gordy to court. I called and texted him to let him know what was going on and he blocked my number. I have no money, live paycheck to next weeks paycheck, have 2 kids and Christmas is right around the corner. For him to put anyone in this situation is outright evil. DO NOT HIRE THIS GUY!!! Literally go anywhere else and thank yourself later.
