    This company rebuilt a chimney on my home on October 27 th 2022. I paid the mason in full who did the work as instructed by the company's owner but did not receive a receipt . However, the owner told me that he would bring me the receipt. But,this did not occurr and I have subsequently called the owner on four separate occasions ( 10/31, 11/1,11/11 and 12/1) to request the receipt. During each conversation, the owner gave an excuse for the delay such as being busy or out of town but told me that he would give me the receipt. During two conversations, the owner told me he would drop the receipt off and place it in my mail box. On another day, the owner asked me to text him my email address and said he would email it to me. Then on 12/1 he said he would write the receipt, take a picture,then send it to me. Additionally, on 12/1 he seemed to try to minimize the validity of my request for the receipt because he mentioned that I only had my chimney repaired. I still have not received the receipt. I simply would like my receipt and I believe this is a reasonable request. I would greatly appreciate any assistance to obtain my receipt.Thank you.

    Hello
    I did receive a response from JE Fournier Roofing. However, I am not satisfied with it. On 12/19, the owner texted me a photo of the estimate which was marked paid in full. However, the date on the estimate is 9/14 and this is the date that the owner came to look at the job. However, the chimney was rebuilt on 10/27 and this is the date that I paid for the completed work.
    Therefore, I would like a more accurate receipt,one that reflects the date that the work was completed and paid for.

    BBB spoke directly with the business and the owner advised that he would put together another receipt that shows the date the work was performed (10/27/22) and send that to the consumer as soon as possible.
