    In December 2020 my 3 family rental property caught on fire due to a tenants accident. I had help from my insurance to fix the damages, and hired ***** Amancio as the contractor for the job. Over time while the job was being worked on I kept running into problems, and to this day I still am. Construction was not "completed" until February 2022. I live in my first floor unit. The contractor will not fix anything, or respond at this point. I had a window company come by last week to replace a basement window, in the short time they were on my property the expressed how badly the windows that were installed by ***** Amancio's company was "the worst hack job" they have ever seen and that I should proceed to get a lawyer because I will run into more problems than I already have over time. I had (last year winter 2021) and currently have extremely high heating bills because the windows have gaps, were not installed correctly, or sealed properly if at all. I sealed a few windows myself because it was so bad but it did not help the problem. These widows can not stay in this condition, it will lead to water in the house, mold, bugs, rodents and other problems.. they aren't safe. The windows are the biggest problem, but that doesn't include the structural issues. Door frames not installed correctly and separating, floors not properly installed leaving gaps in between walls and floors, light fixtures are noisy like the ceiling fan is going to come down, electrical outlets not installed properly or safely, ceilings are cracking and holes forming, showers not sealed properly and mold is present in 2 units. The list goes on. I have all the pictures and messages between the contractor and I to prove my claims, something must be done. I would like to **** I would like the problems fixed. Ive fixed some myself but I'm a student and 26 years old, I can only do so much. I gave the company a lot of money and I was completely taken advantage of.
