The company installed a new HV** unit for me in December 2022. Last month, when the ** was turned on for the first time since the install, it was discovered that the ** was not working properly. At the time of the install, the company assured me that should I have any issues following the install, they would address them immediately. I have been trying to get in touch with the company for almost a month since the faulty ** was discovered and they have been completely unresponsive. The new unit cost $14,000 and is not working and the company refuses to address any issues.

We did not install that unit, *********************** Plumbing did. We however did come out for a service call in the winter which turned out to be a bird flew into the exhaust vent, we cleared it and made sure the heat was properly working.

We then sent an invoice which no payment was ever received and we never got a response from the client

Better Business Bureau:I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # ********. Please add your rejection comments below; if you do not provide any details, your complaint will be closed as Answered.

Payment for the **** installation went directly to ***************************, the owner of Cityside Plumbing. I have those receipts. The service for the heat in the winter is completely separate, but nevertheless, I do not recall receiving an invoice for that service, but I would be happy to remit payment if the company would like to follow up.

Businesses and Customers should be civil, courteous and polite in their responses to complaints. It is important to remain professional and productive when participating in the BBB complaint process.

    Business Response

    Date: 06/21/2023

Before 02/05/2023 I had never entered Mrs ********* unit at ****************************************, nor had I previous to the call for no heat ever spoken to or had any contact with her at all. She had used *********************** who unfortunately happens to be my mothers estranged husband, yes she had sent money to my Venmo account at his request without my knowledge that I then paid to him and told him not to do that again. *********************** is an active drug abuser with mental health issues an I do not do business with him, and I should not be involved in anything to do with Mrs ********* hvac issues in the future.

Also she has failed to mention that prior to her rejection of my first response and her writing her 2nd response I had sent my hvac person to the property and the issue was remedied at my cost.

    Thanks
