    Hello, in May 2024 I paid $5000 to Middlesex Asphalt Services for asphalt installation on my driveway at *****************************************. Last year I've installed stone flowerbeds to provide more curb-appeal for my home-base daycare. As a result of this I had some spots to patch. Middlesex Asphalt offered to install new asphalt instead of patching, which I agreed to. Upon completing the job I noticed that flowerbed's stone was almost completely covered with new asphalt, which defeated the purposed of the flowerbeds. I wrote to the company texts and an e-mail, but received no response. Communication with them hasn't been great from the beginning. In addition to covered stones, I've noticed several deterioration spots on the driveway. Please advise on my further actions. I seek repair of bill adjustment. Thank you!

    To whom it may concern. Our responsibility is with the Driveway. When we went to complete this specific job the flower base stone's were already placed, because of this, and the height of the street being higher than the existing driveway. This Driveway needed to be raised substantially to make the pitch perfect. Furthermore to guarantee no water puddles, where water would have gotten trapped in between the stone-wall and the Driveway. Tire marks on the Driveway are a big problem this year due to weather. Tire marks usually happen when the driveway is heated up by weather and the homeowner/whoever turns their wheel stationary when pulling in or out of the driveway. Our warranty does not cover tire marks, and these tire marks hold no threat to the integrity of the driveway, and will cool off and disappear in due time . Finally the amount that was paid is set. We do not patch driveways. We refuse too because it can cause many more problems, then just simply repaving. The price that was given to the customer will not change. As well as repair. Customer still has a warranty with us, and our warranty only covers natural causes ( not tiremarks.)
