      Purchased truck oct 2023 , dous inspection was done illegally. This truck should have not passed inspection. With in a week a oil change and 4 tires were needed (tires were unsafe and then at end of October i get a error light, needs catolitoc converter. I returned to Dous and he told me he would fix it for another $4,500. I went to another machnic and it was indeed the converter and Dous shouldent have passed this truck for inspection due to a fail on immissions. This bussiness would not rectify this issue. This truck was sold and inspected with a bad converter.

      I am sorry to hear what happened with the individuals who purchased the vehicle. First, he had the opportunity to go anywhere to get a sticker done he was not obligated to come to me. Second, stickers can not pass emissions due to the obd being plugged into the state inspection machine. It is impossible to pass any vehicle with an emissions problem. The tires at the time of purchase were 3/4 life. The oil was changed before we sold the vehicle. It was his decision 3 weeks later to change the oil and install new tires. He came October 27th to change the oil and there was no complaint or issues with the vehicle at that time, he left satisfied. Third, I do not make these vehicles, I buy them and sell them, a truck with 156,000 miles the limit law only requires seven days to pass inspection sticker. I gave the purchaser 30 days. I what ever the limit law required on used vehicles and beyond the limit.

      My husband and I was sold a truck from Doas Auto, we live in the same town and put our trust in his bussiness. We arrived at Doas Auto and purchased a registared truck from this bussiness. The tires wore wore not yes it was our fault for assuming they were fine due to the passing of inspection. The oil change yes this was on us, we had it changed because it was not changed before purchase. Yes, we did this.  Once the error light came on 33 days later we knew we were scammed (battery unplugged), once Doas Automotive said it will be 4,500 more cause the converter is **** we knew we got scammed. 30 day 30 days, his worked screamed in my face. I left crying. I took the truck else where. In the mean time I looked into filing a small claims suit. I noticed we did not buy a truck from Doas Auto, we went there Mr D*** was at his Auto Sale store but the bill of sale is from another company We have never heard of, yourself *** or something like that. I believe that we were scammed! I believe this is a violation of the corporate transparency act.
