Jerry E had promised a start date the beginning of September last year for poured concreate stairs, slab, and a walkway leading to a round firepit area. The afternoon on September 12th, the framer began to frame. While he worked, he let his dog roam all around the outside of my house driving my dogs nuts, he swore many times and threw things. I explained to Jerry many times I had dogs so leaving metal rods for the framing sticking out of the ground was a deathtrap for them. September 20th, I sent Jerry a text telling him my dogs needed to run and couldn't with the rods still in place, he said he was going to send someone over the "knock down" the rods. Finally on September 23rd concrete arrived, the stairs, walkway and fire pit area were poured. In the afternoon on Monday, September 26th the main slab was poured. I was told it takes 24 hours to fully dry before the cutting of lines happens. In the evening of September 29th, Jerry came to cut lines in the patio, walkway as well as the fire pit area. Jerry had issues with his equipment then decided to seal so he didn't leave until well after dark. September 29th is when I gave Jerry full payment. September 30th Jerry came over to remove the forms and at that time I showed him what appears to be popped bubbles in the concrete, he said it looked cool, I told him I didn't think so! I showed him the areas where there was no sealant and the areas where it was darker because of too much. Jerry said the sealer would blend over time. The corners of the patio were not smooth and didn't match both sides. Jerry finally came back after weeks of texting him to attempt to fix the corners, they are still mismatched and now completely different in color as he added more concrete to the slab.On March 13th Jerry said to call him in a month if he didn't call after I informed him my stairs and patio are deteriorating, he didn't call so I texted him then got a reply of "I absolutely do not have the capacity right now".

I entered into a contract with Eddington Elite Concrete on 12 Apr 23. Job was to remove and replace concrete pool deck. Saw cutting and jackhammer work commenced that day. As per the contract I paid the initial 3,000.00. This work was to be completed in one (1) week, weather permitting. A period of rain ensued and one week passed. Workers did not appear again until I called Mr. Eddington. I discussed with him the concrete debris on a tarp in the yard. Workers returned jackhammered more and picked up and removed the concrete. At times there have been 3-4 workers with no one in charge. During the demo work one water intake cover was destroyed and the plastic support neck also broken. None of this was brought to my attention. When I discovered this, I also found concrete debris inside both water intakes and in the suction lines leading from both. Workers did not cover both openings as the jackhammered. This will likely lead to filter problems when the pool is opened. I told Mr. Eddington about this, he said they could reach in and clean them out?? The only other productive time came when 4 workers showed up, one of which appeared to have knowledge of setting forms. Throughout the day they managed to set 2x4 forms around the pool, place 1 inch stone and wire mesh for reinforcement. On returning home that evening I discovered that the forms may not be set with the pitch away from the pool. The grade for depth is not at 4 inches as specified in the contract, in fact the wire mesh is in place as it would be for placing concrete. There is still remaining areas to hammer out for replacement of the in concrete sleeves for the ladders. Mr. Eddington has not returned my calls and have not seen him or workers in 10 days. His phone says mailbox is full. I left a message on 2 May asking to discuss work and Way Forward he replied with voice message the next day, agreeing to call me and discuss the way forward. I have not heard from him. I have a contract I know the way forward..
