    Bob C******, owner, had two employees come in and do my laminate flooring and absolutely left me with the sloppiest work ever. Pictures tell a story. He came for an inspection last December after I have to finally beg him to get here to look even though I sent him all the photos of the sloppiest work ever and I pointed out everything and it didn't seem to phase him in the least. I have been texting him and calling him and wanting someone to come and give me the correct flooring that was supposed to have foam backing. I tried telling him this wasn't the correct laminate when the guy started in the back bathroom but he ignored all my messages and let them continue to complete the flooring and then I started to have issues with it because there was no underlayment under it whatsoever on top of the subfloor. He definitely does not know anything about construction this is why he didn't correct it immediately and just left me the way that he left me for a very long time. I am certain he will come on here and he will tell you that I gave him a hard time during the entire process, no, I gave him a hard time because I wanted what I was supposed to get and he lied and he scammed my insurance company he got paid for something that I did not get. 
    I tried several times to tell him this was the wrong product but he had his crew continue. This was done the beginning of November and ended Thanksgiving. Laminate flooring doesn't even meet doorways different type moldings and colors next to each other nail sticking up from transition strips and molding that I stepped on many times and hurt myself. I can't really go on and on there's not enough room here. He even had another construction company come out to do the work and he was going to pay for it and that didn't even work out because the other company came out and now they tell me that he's not getting the green light from Bob C******. This was a homeowner's claim and he got paid for flooring that that I did not receive. Shame!

    Regarding your concerns, our team followed the agreed-upon
    scope of work and used the materials that were designated for the project. We
    understand that you have concerns about the flooring and have made multiple
    attempts to work with you toward a resolution. Additionally, we arranged for two
    other contractors to assess the situation in good faith, but you ran one off
    and scared the other.

    My biggest regret is that I tried to help you in a situation
    with your previous contractor. I should not have taken the job when you were
    talking about legal action against them. That should have been the red flag
    that this was just some sort of money grab and that there was no way to appease
    you. The workers complained of impossible work conditions and that they were
    being filmed without their permission. The lack of regard for business hours
    with massively long emails and texts to me and other contractors on evenings
    and weekends. The harassment, the slander, the foul language and name-calling, the
    misuse of insurance funds that were meant for construction and product is just
    the tip of the iceberg for what we and others had to endure.

    I would ask the BBB readers to ask themselves this question –
    could four well established companies be all wrong in this?

    I am rejecting this response because:


    Mr. C******,
    I knew exactly what your reply was going to be. Of course you did not do anything wrong. You did everything right according to you. It’s funny that you didn’t come here once to check on any of the work despite all the emails and text messages that you chose to ignore trying to tell you that they have damaged my original molding and the flooring was not fit correctly in the doorways and that you cheated me out of laminate flooring and then got paid for materials that I did not get! I was supposed to have a foam backing for insulation. I wouldn’t expect anything less from you to bring up a company that was here before you. It is funny though I will say that when you showed up you couldn’t believe the way that this company left me with open floors which were unsafe for me a senior citizen with slight disabilities. This isn’t about any other company prior, this is about you not following through with getting me the correct flooring and having it installed properly, which includes the doorways and the correct molding. As far as what you’re saying about color choices for the flooring, you were in **** ***** I would imagine you took a photo of two pieces of laminate flooring and sent it to me. The colors were not right, but I did choose the darker one. When I saw it when it got here it wasn’t anything like the photo you showed me. Most companies would come out with samples and at least show the homeowner and give them the option for a color so they could see it in person. I even asked to come meet you or your crew in **** ***** so I could look at them personally. I didn’t get any choice of molding that was picked out by your crew who I have to say was not experienced.  The photos just don’t lie . The moldings were three separate styles and two separate colors and they were even placed next to each other in between a doorway, different styles, different colors. You have never addressed this, even to this day regarding submitting to my insurance company, flooring with foam backing and bringing over something totally different, a lot cheaper and I remember you telling me, “sometimes you can’t always go according to the gospel”, I know exactly what that means so don’t you and I was totally shocked when I heard you say that, that says cheat and scam as much as you can to save money. You know the nails that stuck out that I stepped on that went right through my toe to the nail. My hallway is still totally destroyed from them cutting a hole down the middle of the entire floor when that should not have happened you know all of this though and repeating it over again will still not penetrate in your head. You knew that I had no heat because of a problem with my furnace and because the flooring and the sub flooring had no insulation I froze. This just proves that you don’t care about the homeowner whether it’s coming out-of-pocket or it is an insurance claim. I am a person and a senior citizen! I was very frustrated. Most of the frustration was because you were not listening to me regarding the sloppy work that was done. You had a worker that was tampering with my mail that when I sent you the video you didn’t even reply except you replied through a text message insinuating that I was a ****** ******* *** ****** *** *** ******** now how professional is that? I have no idea where you’re coming up with four companies? One before you, you and then ***** ***** that came to my home and lied to me the entire month. you must be talking about Hector, who is the father of one of your four people, I wouldn’t call Hector a company. He was going to come out to see what he could do, but then after his hissy fit when he was shoveling snow on my lawn when he didn’t have to, and I jokingly mentioned, maybe this should be done in the spring. He threw his shovel and walked away. I have that video as well so again, I have so much proof that we would have to be going back-and-forth forever with this, but I will do it! Your last email or text message to me was telling me that **** from ***** ***** was going to call me and that he was going to come in and just take care of everything because you were done with all of my complaints regarding the sloppy work. Your company does no wrong. your workers did not do the work satisfactory to what was supposed to be done, but you keep saying that your work was completed, yes, it was completed with the wrong flooring that you knew about and all the sloppy work that went along with. You said to me, your Crew said to me for me not to worry that you’re gonna take care of me and that everything is going come out good. No slander to you frustration calling you a liar because you were when you ignore someone that is trying to reach you regarding a very bad situation. You should respond to them not ignore. There’s too many emails too many text messages to just get out in here and that is why I am going to step further and going to submit a claim in small claims court. You can do the same thing there that’s good. You can put the blame all on me. ***** ***** came into my home the end of January to look around once I had to contact him two weeks later because I heard nothing to find out. Is there any updates? He was on vacation he contacted me a week later to tell me that he’s going to come here with you installers. They came here. They measured we all got along. Everything was great no sooner than five minutes when he walked out the door he called me and told me that you agreed to purchase more flooring because they’re just was not enough in here. I found that very odd. I even questioned him about it and he had a brain fog so You two were definitely in cahoots with something and you played me like a fiddle. You made me feel like a fool totally during this whole situation. All I wanted, was you to have someone come out and correct everything that I did not get including the correct flooring with the foam backing. If there was no phone backing to laminate then an underlayment should have been put down on top of the subfloor and that didn’t happen either. it’s no wonder this happened because you have no experience in remodeling and Justin your Crew person sat on my couch in my living room and told me that. He said you’re a great person, but when it comes to remodeling anything, you don’t have a clue. you heard a frustrated senior citizen messaged you multiple times and email you multiple times because all I wanted was my home to be the way that it was supposed to be with the materials that I was supposed to get you never even came to do the fogging or complete the mold remediation under my mobile home, which was in your supplemental and you’re telling me that I stole insurance money? My adjuster told me that is the reason why they issue the checks to the homeowner in case the contractor doesn’t do the work properly you know all this Bob you just want to get attention and think that you got wrong but you didn’t. I just wish you would realize that. I still have no idea why **** from ***** ***** gave me the runaround for a month. I honestly, right hand on the Bible do not understand why you say that I chased him away when we never even got started with anything. you like to say that that’s all that you have because the bottom line is Bob. You didn’t want to deal with me anymore. You did not want to deal with the fact that you know your crew did not do a good job and that you didn’t know how to fix it. I will provide more photos and once we get a small claims, I will have so many more. you’re a veteran, you’re a ******** and I know that because you told me that your parents knew my husband who passed away in his parents so I would never ever expect this from a ****** ********, who is so very into their ********. I suppose we each have one more chance for this, but all I can do is just keep repeating myself over and over again about what you just do not want to do and that would be to finish and complete the work which means taking out the flooring that was not correct in the beginning that you just didn’t want to hear. Getting me the correct flooring that I picked out and explaining exactly what you mean by me chasing off **** from ***** ***** I would love to hear that. As I said, I had to chase him down every two weeks to see if there were any updates because he just totally ghosted me I will say it again Bob I really hope you sleep well at night for what you did to me. I might add that you accused me of stealing money from the prior company before you and I had to prove you wrong by showing you a photo of Bill holding the check that I gave to him and a receipt. Yes, I held onto their check for quite a while. I consulted an attorney to see if there was anything that could be done because they left me unsafe with open holes that you know all of this And it ended up where I just paid them what they submitted to my insurance company and I’m gonna add one more thing that molding and transition strips that didn’t even match the flooring that again I had no say in the color or style that was just picked out by your crew that didn’t know anything about flooring. I was never asked about molding color style or transition strips I in fact sent you in an email or text message that I wanted a beige color to match the flooring and I didn’t get that but you may would’ve known all of this if you would have taken the time to come out maybe once a week to look at the work that was being done. Had you have done that you would have noticed all of this and you would’ve put a stop to it, returned the wrong flooring and purchased the correct one. Do you want to twist it now and indicate that I am now wanting a whole new floor well yes, I want the flooring that I was supposed to get with the insulation. ******** ****** is on board with me they told me if they need any help regarding any lawsuits or anything that they would send me copies and written letters. How many times did I tell you about the vanity that it was damaged and you still have done nothing about it? Where does my warranty come in? I should have a warranty with all of this. You provided me with absolutely nothing. No paperwork whatsoever no contract no work ordered. No nothing. I have the paper trail of your estimate to my insurance company that you got paid close to $15,000 because you submitted expensive flooring that I did not Get and you want to know why I think that I was scammed? also photos, all winter of clothing and towels and blankets that I had to throw down near my washer and dryer because behind the washer and dryer, which you know the flooring has not even been completed and cold air is coming up. In the end here, Bob there are way too many emails and way too many text messages all of which I have printed out but not to present here and that is what you are all about and upset with because you got an over abundance of a senior citizen who was in distraught being cold all winter long because you got email after your email and text message after your text message. Maybe if you had addressed it it would’ve been corrected from the very beginning and I wouldn’t have to keep contacting you or at least trying to.

    I definitely do not appreciate threats sent to me by **** ***** from ***** ***** ************ and he indicates your name and he says “we” I totally understand that you have nothing more to say because you are in the wrong and you just can’t prove that you are not. I have all the proof. I have all the photos of sloppy work that doesn’t phase you in the least, I have all the emails and text messages. I am a senior citizen and I am a woman and I am going to fight for what I believe is right and I am going to stand up for myself whether it is to my benefit or not. I will get the satisfaction, knowing that I tried. Nowhere in any of those messages have I slandered you but I believe I just proved that I was threatened and insinuated by you that I was a ******. I really think,  Mr. C****** that you didn’t think I would go through with this because maybe I am a senior citizen who happens to be a woman who got treated very unfairly? I guess I surprised you. I was just threatened that you and **** ***** are going to contact an attorney and sue me in *********** ******** ***** because I wrote and gave you a one star review on ******? I’m sorry, but that’s a little funny.. I guess you would be upset because your BBB is now a little tainted. If that makes you feel better to get a lawyer and sue me then I guess you need to do what you need to do just like I needed to do this. You obviously have the money to do that, but you don’t have the funds to make my home the way it was supposed to be. I hope you have a blessed day.
