    We purchased tickets for a street car show on 11/30. The show is on Dec 3. My wife found out today that she tested positive for COVID at home. I asked the Stockbridge Chamber of Commerce for a $20 refund of the tickets in view of my wife having COVID and not being be able to attend the show. They sited they are non-profit and tickets are non-refundable as posted on their website. In view of COVID this seems unfair.

    On November 29, 2023 the customer purchased 4 tickets to the Main Street at Christmas Recreation taking place on December 3, 2023. The event is organized by the Local Chamber of Commerce. 
    On November 29, 2023 the customer emailed asking to cancel the 4 tickets because their friends had already purchased the tickets.
    On December 2,2023 the customer via email asked to cancel because the spouse tested positive with covid. 
    On December 2, 2023 We responded with sympathy wishing the customer well and that the tickets are non-refundable and supplied a copy of the policy stated on the ticket order.
    On December 2,2023, the customer explained that they would dispute the charge on their credit card and put a poor review in google.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    I agree I originally tried to cancel the 4 tickets originally within 30 minutes of initial purchase.  I inquired immediately via e-mail and got no response. I can purchase a car or house and change my mind in 24 hours to cancel but not 4 tickets for a car show. Why?

    Anyways In the mean time my wife did come down from COVID 2 days later.  In this case there was no way I was going to use the tickets unless they preferred us going and spreading the virus.  

    I think it is poor business not to allow someone to change their mind in 24 hours.  But aside from that in view COVID the tickets should be refunded.

    This policy is wrong wrong wrong!  Unfair practice to the public!  They hide behind being non-profit and steal my money.  Very disappointed with response.
