      Agreed on August 15 2024 with Strong man waterproofing company toinstall sump pump and backup batteries at my address. The total cost would be $3750. I paid by check half as a Down payment $(1875) secheduled work for sept 7. When workmen came they could not install the pump because of asbestos flooring. I told the workmen that I had told the sales person that it was asbestos tile on the floor, and the sales person said that the workmen could take that up themselves. So I agreed to find someone to take up the asbestos that took about a month. I then called the company for them to do the work and no one would answer my calls. It Took a week for someone to get back to me. When they finally got back to me, they were very apologetic and said that the owner was experiencing family problems. They assured me that they would be out on December 12 to do the work they did not show up on December 12. I called them for another three days and finally someone called me back saying that they were having supply issues. at that point I felt that I could no longer trust this company to do the work and asked for my refund of the down payment. The receptionist said that shed have to talk to the owner and she would call me back. Ive waited four days and Ive gotten no return call and Ive called them and there isnt anyone to pick up the phone.
