      During the gutter cleaning appointment, the company showed up unannounced and proceeded to blow leaves out of the gutters and onto the lunches we were eating outside from the opposite side of the house. I complained and they said they sent a new crew out. They billed me and I paid the bill using my bank's bill payment service. Now the company is saying months later that they never got the payment, despite bank records showing payment was delivered. The company does bad work and claims it never got the payment.

      Tell us why here...

      The customer, *****************************, had a contract with JLM Gutter Cleaning Service giving us authority to go out certain times of the year for gutter cleanings without being notified. Had we known the customer wanted to be notified before going to his location, it would have been done. We did apologize for ruining his lunch with his family and discounted him $40.00. As per his request, we no longer service him unless he calls us. We also never received his first payment of $125.00 but we received his second payment on November 2nd after several attempts.       Better Business Bureau:

      I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does partially satisfy my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint #********. However, the information provided regarding advance notice of visits does not reflect the policy communicated in several phone calls and does not explain the lack of ringing a doorbell or other form of notice upon arrival.  That said, I understand that by choosing to accept the business response that my complaint will be closed as resolved.
