We had a water leak in the wall of the laundry room that we couldn't figure out. **** arrived on schedule, found the leak and fixed it. Good communications throughout. This is the second positive experience we've had with Cotti-Johnson and ****.

Cotti Johnson fixed a blower on my heating system in my upstairs costing us about $1400 in December 2023. Less than a year later the heat won’t turn on again.
In order to get someone to fix it and not pay $280 for an emergency call, I have to take a day off from work as their service calls are from 8-4!
In addition they were supposed to come service the AC part of the units in June, 2023 and I took a half day off from work and they called 15 minutes before that they had to cancel.
This place is an absolute disaster and I would not recommend anyone working with them.

Gave me a price of $6,230 for installing central ac, I told the salesman/tech that i only have a $5000 limit on my credit card, 2 minutes later he dropped the price to $5000.83. I agreed to the price, shook hands and gave him the credit car for 50% deposit. 3 minutes later he told me that some kind of error on his part and now it will be more than $7000 Thats not a way to do business. Hope you folks look into it. Thank you very much.

DO NOT HIRE FOR HVAC.Cotti Johnson has been the single worst contractor I have ever dealt with to date. If you have a large HVAC related work to be done, do yourself a favor and hire actually competent companies. Where to start... I hired Cotti-Johnson to replace my old oil boiler with a modern heat pump system as the main source of heat for my house. They should not be in the business of recommending heating systems to people. First of all, there's no heat load calculation of any kind. They simply guess based on the size of the house without knowing a single thing about insulation or any other factor. Second mistake was recommending a single indoor head for an entire first floor that's separated by stairs in the middle of it. Unfortunately, we're now stuck in a position where the new system simply can not heat our first floor evenly. We have hot side and cold side and unfortunately our dining room is now permanently cold. Third mistake was installation. It took weeks to convince Cotti-Johnson and countless ignored calls and emails to get them to fix a mistake they made with the original install. Even then, they had to make multiple trips to finally realize they didn't account for line lengths accurately and undercharged the system. They simply did not know how to deal with ********** multi-headed systems. I had to ask for proof of exactly how much refrigerant was being added in order for them finally do a proper calculation and add correct amount of refrigerant. Hire a diamond certified contractor if you want a ********** system and do not want to deal with these kind of amateur mistakes. Even after they finally did charge it to seemingly proper levels, they left bunch of screws and brass refrigerant line connectors/caps behind. To add more insult to injury, I have been trying to get in touch with Cotti-Johnson for over 3 months for correcting inspection results and so far all of my emails have been ignored.

Cotti-Johnson HVAC, Inc.There are not enough accolades in the English dictionary to describe just how fantastic *********************** is.The Reader's Digest version is what was supposed to be a simple water shut off, valve replacement, and faucet installation turned out to be a problem from h*** at every turn. **** handled every problem as though it was second hand to him. He is most definitely the quintessential professional! He is the very definition of customer service and satisfaction.
