    *** originally installed exterior cameras and a system into our newly built home in November of 2017.The hard drive burnt out, stopped working, in August 2022. We purchased another hard drive from him at that time, which he installed. Personally, I think the hard drive was used as it is an old model that is not sold anymore. Cost was $933.54 On July 6th 2023, I sent an email to him to advise our cameras were again not working for the past couple of weeks. He did respond, stating the ** address *** have changed. This was updated on our phones. I again emailed him and told him that the hard drive appeared to be non-functional as there were no indicator lights showing, unplugged and plugged in again. No change.He asked if we had changed anything (internet provider,etc) No, we had not. I asked if we had a warranty on this hard drive via email, on July 25th. As of today, August 9th - we have not had a response from him. On our invoice from last year, there is no notation re: warranty. We do expect some type of warranty on this equipment and some response to our issue.Thank you.

    THE CUSTOMER EMAILED WITH ISSUE WE WENT BACK N FORTH WITH QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS AND THEN THEY WENT ON VACATION AND EMAILED WHEN THEY RETURNED ON THE AUG 5TH i SENT EMAIL TO MFG TO CHECK ON WARRENTY AND HEARD BACK YESTERDAY REGARDING UNIT. WE ARE VERY BUSY AND SHORT STAFFED LIKE ALOT OF PEOPLE SO HER INSTANT GRATIFICATION WASN'T TO HER LIKING SO SHE DOES THIS.

    I am rejecting this response because: I received no emails stating the business was reaching out to find out about a warranty. IF I had, I would not have asked for help.

    I would assume a business who is selling video equipment would know if they offer a warranty on what they sell.

    Sunset warrenty is 90 days customer can deal with Mfg for there warrenty on equipment...

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is never going to happen with this business. I accept the closure of this complaint, but not the resolution.
