      Contacted RQC by phone week 3/10 explained need He said he would come out to do an estimate on 3/16 @ 2 No show I called @ 3 and he apologized saying he was getting a dog Arrived next day Wouldn't be able to do the work until 5/6 but if sooner he'd contact He called 4/4 able to come that day I denied as I was not able Returned 4/5 with a partner Arrived with the main door and the storm in boxes and and gave me keys for storm in a sealed bag After main door was installed and the storm was partially installed spoke amongst themselves and said they had to return the door due to something RE the lock The original door with the locksmith installed deadbolt matching the front door and k*** were left on the door I told them I needed those items and they were never provided to me After they left I was not able to close the main door had no storm Texted him He indicated that he would have to get another plate and then returned Mon with a new storm which was not in a box and handed me the loose keys When they left Fri I paid 2200 in cash and 650 on Mon The door did appear to shut with a lot of sunlight coming in with a broken deadbolt and the lock on the k*** does not fit correct Holes were never drilled for the storm deadbolt and it hits the wood I AM left w/o security Faucet which I was never shown for approval and not in a box is too large and splatters since the sink is not deep and cost 550 I later requested a new faucet Never returned The outside light w/o instructions nor box The light blinded me as I opened the door and when I went to turn it it broke off having minimal caulking When I asked for a new/different light I was told he'd charge for a different light and install and he claimed I broke it When I called prior to ask for help RE light he never responded I requested receipts/manuals and never received Overcharged for basement and electrical work -$175 for a porch outlet only s**** in another Need $1425 to hire contractor to fix ALL and NEW bolt

      After last conversation with this customer I dont feel safe talking to them or going back to the property. I was warned about putting cameras on the fence with the neighbor and conspiring against her and many other things I cant say here

      From the start of doing work at her home something was off and it only got worse.  The day I returned to her home after the issues started, I offered her a refund, but she still wanted me to do more work.  Due to how things were, I was not comfortable going back to her home.  I will be mailing her a full refund in the amount of $2875.  We always do right by our customers and unfortunately due to the severity of the situation, we were unable to complete this job, but would like to resolve this matter.  Thank you.

      I just wanted to follow up with the written response and the phone response you received when speaking directly with RQC. The written response offers no resolution so would be rejected on its own. However, you've shared a phone conversation during which the owner of RQC stated he'd provide a full refund for the service. Feeling uncertain RE the refund, and speaking directly to you today 5/22/24, my understanding was that an email would be sent requesting more info such as if the check had been mailed and if not, when it should be expected by the customer. Once the check is received and cashed, then we'll move forward with closing of this case.

      The letter from RQC was received yesterday, 5/30/24 and did not state the amount on the business response to BBB dated 5/22/24."The cost of the supplies I can't refund as they are installed in your home." *****, I will gladly find a comfortable way to return the door, storm door, faucet and outside light to you after I have hired a new contractor to put in a new door, ***** door, faucet and outside light. I am not able to keep these products. The storm door is leaking onto the inside door and the flooring causing damage. The faucet leaks and is so large for the small sink that it splatters when used. 

      I was planning on the full refund as that is what was stated to the BBB included on the complaint stream with a date of 5/22/24. Please send along a new letter with the full amount, a comfortable way for me to get the products to you once taken off, and I will sign and return it to you immediately.

      Your understanding is greatly appreciated. I too wish to bring the memory of this occurrence to an end.

      On August 30, 2022, I hired ***** to build a bathroom upstairs so my 91 year old father could move in. My start date was October 3rd. October 6th, ***** moved the date to the last week in October. October 26th I texted *****, Just checking in. How are things going? The text was read but no response. 2 more texts were read but again no response. I text one last time. This time he ghosted me. This is not professional! My biggest concern was not having the bathroom in time for my father. Now that is an even bigger concern! I will never get someone else for a few weeks to a few months. Construction should have been finished before it got too cold. I dont think this is behavior is worthy of your best rating. A warning for others!

      I did not perform any work or enter into any contracts with this consumer. Therefore a complaint/ review is not warrented. Due to our great services we are very busy and are booked out months ahead. Clients are made aware of this and no specific start date was given.
