I called Sinclaire at the end of July as AC stopped working. **** came. He only did a visual inspection without using any tool to check anything. He suggested to either replace control board or replace both board and blower motor as he was not sure which was the problem. I decided to replace the board. AC was up and running. I paid Sinclaire $1417.93. I was told the board was under warranty and I would get a refund of about $580 in 5-8 weeks. 12 weeks have passed, I still haven't received refund even after multiple calls.A few days later, Sinclaire called me for a furnace maintenance service and **** came. Surprisingly, the furnace stopped working. **** didn't do much of an inspection either and sent me a proposal of replacing the ignitor, sensor and/or motor ranging from a few hundred dollars to $2000. Again he was not sure what the problem was.I bought and replaced all parts myself according to Sinclaire's recommendation. However, the furnace was still not working.I decided to call another company for a second opinion. The technician did a thorough examination and found that there was a wire that was not attached to the board. He attached the wire and the furnace started to work. I paid him $100.I hope **** just missed the wire by mistake, rather than intentionally left it hidden and unattached. I hope it is a coincidence that by unattaching the wire it will only affect the furnace while AC still works. Also, such a coincidence that **** came in to check on the furnace right after **** fixed the *** It is indisputable that **** made a mistake while fixing AC and it is the cause of the furnace problem. We started to use the furnace more often recently. Though it ignites fine, it stops working shortly after ignition. I called the technician from the other company. It turns out that **** not just missed the wire, he also attached 4 wires to the wrong place. The technician rearranged the wires according to the map. The furnace started to work. I paid him $200.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. I am truly sorry for the frustration and inconvenience you've faced, and I understand how disappointing it must have been to encounter repeated issues and delays, especially after having placed your trust in us.
It is unfortunate that we were not contacted to reassess the situation and complete the repair. By doing so, we could have determined whether the issues stemmed from our initial service or if they were influenced by the subsequent installation of parts recommended by our team but performed outside our company. Nevertheless, I want to assure you that your concerns are being taken very seriously.
We have applied a credit to your account for the initial service and additionally for the company you contracted, as promised, and I deeply apologize for the delay you experienced in receiving the refund . I also understand how unsettling it must have been to learn that wires were misplaced, and I assure you that any potential error from our side was certainly not intentional. We are committed to providing reliable and competent service, and we will be reviewing our processes to ensure that this does not happen again.
Thank you for your patience and for bringing this matter to our attention. If there are any additional concerns or if there is anything we can do to make things right, please feel free to reach out.
