    I have tried to sell my items online, but to no avail. So I went to Platos Closet. I have gone to Platos Closet for years first as a faithful customer. Over the years and sold items or was even advised by employees to sell them online to get near market price in the past. So this time, I made an appointment and brought 30 items per the guidelines for what exactly the store was looking for during this season. Only 3 items were chosen (retail $180) The offer was for $35 for all 3 items. $4 for one item that was still in the brand new packaging.The other two luxury items were brand new and never used. I understand the pricing can be less than retail and with higher end brands in the store I know prices can range differently. I decided I would take my items back to donate to ******** and sell elsewhere if possible. Before I could take my items back the employee that went through my items, stated You cant sell here anymore. while also stating my account will have a red flag because I did not accept their offer and give them my items twice and other people could have taken my appointment spot. This is not in their policy that you are obligated to sell any items per their offers or else one would be penalized. The store was not busy and there were not a plethora other sellers waiting to sell. Being accosted in the store was discriminatory and not warranted and I want my experience to be known. I asked for more clarification on why my account would be flagged for not giving them my items and accepting their offer as an obligatory action of the interaction. They only repeated what was said earlier. I should have asked for manager involvement. I hope my experience will be known.
