My name is *************************, I am a Family Medicine Doctor who has been under dialysis for almost 6 years now. Currently I am on Hemodialysis at ********* Fresenius ******** Hemodialysis Unit. *** tried Peritoneal Dialysis, but I had severe candida peritonitis, and I was not allowed to continue PD for the same reason. I am writing this letter to file a formal complaint. Since last March the schedule of Hemodialysis was changed. Me and other patients did not agree to this schedule change. I used to be at the schedule from 5:15 to 9:15 PM. This older schedule allowed me to continue working at El Centro Regional Medical Center ********** clinic. The schedule was changed from 5:15 to 3:25 PM. This has caused several inconveniences:1-It has affected the number of patients I can take care of at the clinic. This clinic is located in a rural area and is considered a safe net for the underserved. 2-It has affected me economically as well. 3-It has caused a lot of stress as I have to rush to be on time. 4-I have been losing treatment time, as I have to take care of patients and it is impossible to be on time for HD. 5-It has affected other hemodialysis patients who are also working. I know two of them. I think it is important to keep active as long as possible, as been productive improves mood and prognosis. I have expressed this situation to nurses, doctors, social workers, and administrative personnel. All of them told me they cannot do anything, that the schedule was changed from corporate office. I contacted corporate office, in May, since then they have not gave any solution to this situation. My request is that the schedule be changed back, so hemodialysis patients who are still able to work would be able to continue working while starting Hemodialysis after 5 PM.Initial Complaint

I go to ************** in **********, **. (********************) My television has not worked consistently for 4 months. I have spoken with the Techs, nurses, clinic manager, social worker on how to get a working tv. Mine is not the only tv with issues. I have been told "they know about it." Whomever "they" are. I have offered to buy a replacement tv if it can be installed. I have been told the operations director will call me. No call. Four months is plenty of patience. Just fix or replace the tvs in the clinics. Dialysis is tough enough mentally and emotionally. The escape of the tv helps make the time bearable.Initial Complaint

In the month of July 2021 I was asked to attempt to recruit RNs for positions at the Fresenius Medical Center located in ******** ** by my supervisor ************************ as we were short staffed. I asked for permission to post on ******** for the position and received approval. On July 15th I spoke with ************************* and on July 17th I spoke with ************************* regarding the position. They both applied for the positions and were hired. My boss **** **** explained that I needed to fill out the referral forms as I referred both of them for the RN positions. I filled out the referral forms on 07/23/22 for ************************* and ************************* and I do have the confirmation email. the requirements per company policy in order to be paid out on the referrals is that the employees referred must retain the position for 90 days and the employee who referred must still be employed with the company. These terms have been met. I left the company on February 5th of 2022. ************************* still resides with the company and ******* left after 90 days of employment was met. I have contacted the ************************** multiple times while I was still employed and was told "we are very behind because of Covid but we have the referrals they are in process". I have contacted them 3 times via phone since leaving the company and they state "The referral is with the referral department, we are very behind but it is in processing". I am owed $3,000.00 in referral bonuses from this company and I am attempting to try and collect this from them. It has been over 1 year since these employees have been hired in to the company. Can you assist in any way?Customer Answer

The stuff at fresnius dialysis center in ****** ***** is the most unprofessional unhappy place I've ever seen in my life.I take my mother there for dialysis and just the first few visits of visiting, the other patients that were waiting in the waiting area had been discussing amongst themselves how mean the caretakers or nurses are to them I have found on several occasions, when I drop off or pick up my mother that when I pull in there are people who are elderly disabled in a wheelchair, sitting out in front of the building in the hot sun or wet thunderstorms waiting to be picked up by the ******** bus the caretakers wheel them out and leave them there. located right next to the corner of the highway where a vehicle can easily turn in and not see them and hit them before they realize it.. but personally when having to call in to reschedule my mother's appointment they talk to you so ugly and even start to swear. I had one employee tell my mother that she had better get her s*** together ..he charged out to the parking lot when we were backing out in our vehicle like he was about to attack us physically it was so scary and unacceptable but the biggest situation that I've had with them is my mother getting in trouble because she has to go to the bathroom they hate to have to take her because she's physically disabled, so my mother being scared to ask since she has been yelled at so many times, decided after getting released into the waiting room that she would attempt to go to the restroom herself since nobody would help her .she then fell hitting her head and unable to get up she began to yell for help now keep in mind my mother had just recovered from a spinal surgery that was very risky and a high risk procedure. It wasn't until another person tried to walk into the bathroom they noticed my mother on the floor ..staff failed to inform us call us or even check if she was okay they have been very ugly and rude they cuss at you it's just horrible place.Customer Answer

I have not heard from the business in response to my complaint. And I really don't need to hear from them unless it's the manager of the facility to let me know that she has let them know they need to be more professional and more sympathetic to the sick patients there they may be just a job to them but they are someone's loved ones they need to be treated with respect dignity. They are sick people and they are not there to get treated like children or ignorant useless people they need more staff because when I walk in there's not a single person insight not even a receptionist I hope things change for them and they get better stuff or get their stuff togetherBusiness Response
