I purchased 2 laser pointers from them. They emailed a receipt with the price I agreed to (shipping included). The price reflected on my credit card was 40% higher. I contacted customer service who said it was because I used a guest account. I asked them to cancel the order. They said they couldnt since it was in process. These guys are absolute scammers.

We started a laboratory using Thermofisher equipment in 2020. After late deliveries, countless mess *** with orders and finally paying $**** more for an equipment to function with one carrier gas, just to find out it didn't work, they offered to switch it out free of charge... how nice of them... of course no refund for the extra **** spent, or the year long working on the unit to get functional. No compensating for costs or lost supplies trying to get the system operational. The bottom line for Thermo is revenue, not customer satisfaction. Four strikes and they are out. We are now working with better lab companies that appear to care about their clients, unlike Thermofisher. Too bad, they had the tools, just couldn't put it together right to win our business long term.

This review is a warning to prospective and current employees. This company is currently union busting and hiding behind write *** so they have a paper trail to avoid the legal backlash of their unethical and illegal actions. Their management teams are either unaware of or disregard the National Labor Relation Act. When violations are reported to the HR team, they are firing employees two days later for "performance". They claim to be transparent but when confronted with issues from the employees they hide behind flowery words and corporate nonsensical ideologies, they do not care for their employees nor do they listen. From the customer point of view, you can pretty much get them to replace any thing at no additional charge as long as you tell them there was damage in shipping. Shipping, that they have downgraded to try and save money alongside layoffs that are supposedly helping the company also save money while simultaneously purchasing more companies they can ruin a mine money from and allowing their CEO to take a 22% raise at the expense of their workforce. STAY AWAY if you value your sanity.

Fisher Scientific advertise products as "in stock" on their website, and then after ordering it and paying for it, 12 days later when one calls because there's been no delivery (although it was confirmed by e-mail as being due to be delivered 7 days after the order was placed), I am told that the item is on backorder. Then when the person on the 'phone offers to call the supplier to determine when it will be shipped, they come back saying that the supplier is not shipping to anyone who doesn't have an account with Fisher Scientific (despite the order having been paid for with a valid business credit card, the order confirmed by e-mail, and the shipment going to a business address). I asked who the supplier was, and was told ************* Upon looking up that supplier, I find that the parent ******* of ********** is Fisher Scientific. So bottom line? Fisher Scientific is advertising a product as being available that is not available and that they are not prepared to sell in any event unless one has an account with them (and note that these are Amies Charcoal Swabs - Fisher catalog item number R723045 - which are non-hazmat and non-toxic). Fisher Scientific are using fraudulent marketing tactics.
