  The Crew from Three Sons have done an awesome job inst my bay window and front & rear doors storm doors also. Will be doing business with Three Sons D&W in the future.*** ***** **********************************************************

  Avoid Three Sons Window and Door!We requested a quote for 13 double ************************* windows. Three Sons Window and Door provided a first contract (Released by ********************* on Mar 2, 2023) for 12 (not 13) ******** 200 series windows for $9,792.We told them we wanted to proceed with the contract for the 13 windows which should have been $10,826.Three Sons Window and Door second contract (Released by *********************) was for $14,498 (a $4,706 increase over expected). The increase was for an "extra fee" they forgot to add for window installation. Their error number 2.The second contract was accepted, and the contract signed for $14,498.A deposit was accepted on the contract by Three Sons Window and Door for $5,000.They refused to honor the contract saying Three Sons had made another mistake (the third) and it would cost $7,511 more to proceed. I requested they honor the contract we had both had signed.They refused to do the work and finally returned my deposit, over 6 months later, after multiple requests.To me honoring a contract is a fundamental aspect of any business. I strongly do not recommend Three Sons for ANY work.

  The reason the price kept changing, was because his choice of window kept changing. We tried very hard to work with him. He completely understands the issue, he just does not want to pay for the windows that he wanted. We apologized for the confusion and inconvenience, but it wasnt good enough for this customer.

  When I first called to set an appointment for a quote, they were fast to respond. I gave them a deposit to have the windows ordered in early winter(2022). They did call when the windows came in, however the weather was still to cold to do the installation. In early spring they came to do do the the installation, 12 windows took less than a day. Upon cleaning up after the installation of the windows, I noticed that the calking in several windows was done very poorly. I called the sales rep to tell him and he offered to have someone come out to fix the calking. I told him I would do it myself, then I'd know it was done correctly. Isn't calking part of the job that these so called professional should excel at? As I started to clean and wash the windows, I noticed that the plastic strip (to keep the bugs out) on the top of many of the screens was either missing or didn't cover the entire width of the window. Again I called the rep and was told he would order these strips. Several calls later leaving messages, I want to open the windows in the heat but can't as the bugs will take over. The salesman won't take my calls or get back to me. A good business is based on good customer service which is lacking with these people, big time!! I opted to go with a small business rather than a giant/national company figuring the customer service is what I'm paying for, was I ever wrong!!!

  1. Windows at first looked great, but after closer look we noticed caulking was poorly installed outside of the window do poorly instally it looks like cracks. I have been trying to have someone come to take a look and they will send someone when/if we decide to install other windows in the house whick can be a few months from now. 2. Today, upon looking at some windows we noticed some small cracks in the kitchen an lliving room windows. The windows were installed for less than 2 months and went for a more expensive type. Overall, very disappointed with customer service. We spent a little over $5000 the quality of the windows are not there and windows were poorly installed. We just want someone to come over and take a look. Also, there was no followup after the windows were isntalled. We will make a complaint if those issues are not resolved.
