The business began operations in Boston in 1776 as a harness making and saddle shop and near that time added fine luggage. This business was aquired in 1973 by the London Harness Company which had been established and incorporated in New Hampshire in 1894 and began operations in Boston in 1897. Under new ownership since 1981, the firm has expanded and added to the Boston location, stores in Natick, Hingham and Wellesley and added a TUMI store next to their Wellesley London Harness store. This TUMI store is one of but 20 TUMI stores in the United States. Mr. Dan Woodman and Mr. Gary Jacobson are the principals of the Company. Any problems or complaints should be addressed to them.
