    I bought a new home with a Rheem forced air gas furnace (Jan 2023). There were clear issues with the installation. Water dripping all over the basement floor in 2 areas. Air blowing from multiple areas of the unit and handler. The gas vent installed across the filter, so you have to severely bend the filter to remove and install. No 2ft rule between the take offs where installed ( handler is less than 3 ft long). 3 zone valves for 2 thermostats. Zone 1 controls 2 zone valves, 1 half works very well, other half not good at all. Looking in basement, its not hard to see some of the problems. Flexible ducts are all bent up and over pipes. Then back down then up again. They could have easily been installed fairly straight and I would have more pressure. 2nd zone which controls upstairs has same issue. 1 bedroom has great heat and AC, other bedroom is about half as good. Only 1 return and it's on the 1st floor.I contacted *** around July 1st, he showed up a couple days later, was rude to my daughter and basically denied there were any issues. He said he would come back and install some extra Insulation around one of the pipes ( to help one of the water problems, ignoring the other area) and put a manual damper on 1st floor duct that is working well. After many texts and him saying he would be there on a Wednesday morning ( weeks after he initially showing up), which I made my daughter stay home from work for, he NEVER showed up. He has refused to even answer any of my attempts to contact him. The work is under warranty, and he refuses to hold his end of the bargain on a new system that clearly has issues. All Installation related. I write this on October 7, 2023.
