    BEWARE.not a good experience! Bought a Galaxy DX2547 from Lous Electronics the 2nd week of November and had problems for months. I had *** do his so called magic and my radio was in and out of his shop several times over five months with scrolling frequency counter that would not stay on center slot. Each time it went to his shop I had to wait forever to get it back as well as most people! I was told by a former customer of Lous Electronics that most of Lous radios in for conversions are sent to ********** to be done and that is the reason for waiting so long to get radios back from ***. Little did I know he only does small jobs and sends the rest to **********. Now I know why everyone has to wait two or three months to get their radio back. My last ******* with my radio, *** said he will try to fix my radio and if couldnt fix it he would send it to Galaxy in **********. *** told me to pack my radio, mic etc in the original box and h*** send it out to the guy he has been dealing with for over 30 years. I sent my radio to *** and a couple of days later, *** called me and said the guy he has been doing business with refused to take my radio because the warranty was voided due to *** working on the radio. I have twelve hundred dollars invested in this radio between the price of the radio and the conversions *** had done. After Lous work on my radio, Now, I am stuck with a brand new Galaxy DX2547 with several marks on the faceplate and a SWR meter that is half foggy, and *** will not own up to it. It appears the majority of Lous reviews are from years ago. I guess over the years *** lost his touch. BEWARE!! Look for a reputable company with recent reviews..!
