I installed a Tempra 24 Plus. It has two 50-amp breakers, 6 AWG wire, 240v at water heater terminals, 3/4 copper pipe into and out of the heater, reset buttons are not tripped, temperature is set to 130 degrees F. The initial flow rate on the digital display when any single faucet is opened is 4.2 GPM but within seconds it drops to 1.6 GPM and remains there. To achieve a desired water temperature, I need to have the hot faucet fully open and just barely crack the cold faucet otherwise the outlet temperature at the faucet is cold. This is manageable when using a single sink or shower for temperature but the pressure is very low. The water temperature to the clothes washer is cold when set to the warm setting. All work was done by a licensed electrician and a licensed plumber. I have city water supply so the inlet pressure is stable. The low-pressure issue is only on the hot water side, cold water pressure is normal. The initial temperature setting was 130 F, I lowered it to 115 then 120 then back to 130. No change to hot water pressure. I opened the upstairs shower hot faucet only, GPM display again went from 4.2 to 1.6. Next I opened the hot faucet on the sink in the same upstairs bathroom. The GPM remained at 1.6 although the pressure dropped considerably at both the sink and shower. With both the sink and shower still open I opened the hot faucet in the utility sink in the basement next to the water heater, agin the pressure remained at 1.6 however the upstairs bathroom sink and tub flow literally reduced to a drip per second.I tried contracting technical support several times over several weeks and received zero support. Do not buy from this company.

I was in need of a part for a discontinued 1st generation hot water heater and could not find the correct one anywhere on the internet (flow sensor). I called Stiebel Eltron customer service and all lines were busy. I was prompted to leave a message so i did. Within 5 minutes i got a call back and spoke with ****************. She was such a pleasure to work with and within minutes had me fixed up! She is obviously very knowledgable of her companys products and enjoys her career.
