    We were at a sports event when we learned about InnSeasons Resort. We attended a timeshare presentation on 04/19/2020. We had been told the presentation would last 60 to 90 minutes. We told the Inn Season resorts salespeople that we could not afford to buy a timeshare. Salespeople told us we were being offered a deal on a foreclosure property. We were told the salespeople had fought with our managers to get them the deal. Timeshare salespeople assured us we could use our timeshare at any time of the year. We were told we could reserve accommodation anywhere in the world. We were told we could freely travel between resorts. We were led to believe the timeshare was an investment which would increase in value. We were told the timeshare was a tax write-off. We were told we could sell our timeshare for profit. We were not represented by a real estate agent at closing. We were not told how maintenance fees work or that we may have a vote on how the fees are used. We were told maintenance fees would not increase. We were not told about potential assessments and additional fees. Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions were not discussed with us. The rescission period was not discussed with us. We have experienced a substantial reduction of income because of retirement and the timeshare is no longer affordable. We have not used the timeshare since we bought it. We contacted ********* and requested to downsize to a more affordable property. They told us that downsizing was not an option. We learned the company takes 50% of rental income for making the rental arrangements. Our children do not want the ongoing burden of timeshare ownership.
