In June of 2022, I rented 2 portable restrooms for our wedding business for use from June 17, 2022-July 14, 2022 for $349.90. This included weekly service. After deliverery these units were never serviced in spite of at least twice weekly calls for 4 weeks requesting service. They finally picked them up on July 14, never having serviced them even once during that month. USS agreed to a refund of $318.83 because of their lack of service. Unfortunately, that refund was never processed to my credit card. On August 10, 2022 I contacted USS and spoke with Shyanna P in customer service. She informed me that a letter from my bank testifying that the payment was never received was necessary to process the payment. I obtained that letter and emailed it on 8-10-22. On 8-11-22 I was informed that my refund was approved and that a check would be mailed to me On 8-29-22 I had not received the check yet and called and spoke to William in Customer Service He informed me that the billing department was 6-8 weeks behind in processing refunds. October 6 2022 was 8 weeks from the approval on August 11. As of today's date, October 14, 2022 I still have not received payment. I spoke with Miriam in customer service on 10-7-22, and with Lou M in billing customer service on 10-12-22. Neither has gotten back to me with any updates on the status of the check being issued. All I am asking for is for them to actually mail the refund they originally approved 3 months ago. I have attached my original invoice, the letter from my bank, and the letter request from Shyanna P, which includes my notes from all my contact since then.Business Response

We were able to speak with ******** directly to apologize for the inconvenience and hassle. We gave her a number to contact if any further frustrations arise or if she needs any other assistance. We issued a full refund in the form of a check.

The company delivered an unlocked Port-a-Potty to the alley behind my house between late afternoon 8/22 and early morning 8/23. As the unlocked toilet was drawing homeless people into the alley area, I checked with my neighbors on the adjacent properties and learned that none of them had ordered the toilet. I also checked with the city and learned that no alley maintenance was scheduled for our area. In order to deter the homeless, I put a padlock on the toilet. In the meantime, my wife contacted 1-800-TOILETS and spoke with a customer service representative, who explained that the toilet was mistakenly delivered to the wrong address and that they would come and pick it up right way. That was last week, and the toilet is still sitting in the alley. I have attempted to followup with the company by phone but, on both occasions, the automated answering service put me on hold for ten minutes and then disconnected my call.The toilet is labeled "#******** United Site Services"As the toilet was mistakenly delivered, I would like the company to come pick it up and take it away.Customer Answer

Better Business Bureau:I wanted to confirm that on September 22nd United Site Services did finally collect the port-a-potty that they misdelivered to our back-alley in mid-August. So, effectively, this resolves the complaint.

I was being incorrectly billed by this company. After escalating the issue, the researched it and found out that I was correct. They told me there were issuing a refund in excess of 500$ for the incorrect billing and that Id receive it in 4-6 weeks. This was months ago and nothing has been received. Subsequent Calls back to ***** at ************ who was helping me have not been returned.Customer Answer

The telephone conversation with United Services occurred in May, 2022. This was due to an over-billing on my account as they were charging me rental fees for a unit I owned. They researched and confirmes via phone that they were incorrect and told me I would be refunded.Customer Answer

The USS porta potty on our site had a couple missed cleanings that we were charged for. We decided to hire a local, more reliable company and called to get the USS unit removed. I have called them 4 times. Each time they promised to remove the unit. 2 weeks later the unit remains on site. My replacement unit has been sitting on the median. They failed to maintain the unit.They have failed to pick up the unit for 2 weeks.I just want the unit gone. Please. I dont know what else to do.Business Response

- This unit was however picked up on 7/27 a day after the complaint. We got very behind on staffing but I pulled resources in from other regions to catch up.

On 06/22/2022 I contacted United Site Services for a quote on a porta-potty to be delivered on 07/22/2022. I gave them the address (***** *************************************, ************ ******) and was told that the address was within their service area and paid the $325.45 fee. I called today, 07/22/2022 to verify that the porta-potty would be delivered today. This phone call was at 10:34 AM. They said it would be delivered today. I received another phone call at 12:17 also letting me know that it would be delivered. At 1:17 PM on 07/22/2022 I received a call from them letting me know that their Operations Department said that the address was not within their delivery area. The person explained to me that their computer showed it was within their area of operations and delivery but the Operations Department refused, telling them it was not. Their lack of basic business principals caused me to pay another company a $190 weekend delivery fee because it was past noon and they dont do deliveries past noon. I have yet to talk to a person with USS who can explain why I wasnt notified earlier and why there is a mix up between their sales office and operations department on what their service area actually is. I did receive a second call at approximately 1:54 PM from their sales department letting me know for a second time that they were unable to deliver the porta-potty.Business Response

- GR # is ******. ************************* called and spoke with ****. He can understand his frustration as according to salesforce we DO service this area. However, there is no refund necessary as we never billed him. There are no invoices and the account shows no revenue ever and the order was cancelled.
