5 starsMatt did an excellent job on our two story edition. His framing and craftsmanship is top of the line. Very professional, but also down to earth. Pricing is very fair. Looking forward for him to finish our home in the near future. Definitely would recommend to anybody doing any type of renovation work or additions. Was not disappointed!

1 starI hired Fortini Construction and Remodeling and his team for a full gut and remodel of my basement and bathroom based on his online reviews, recommendations, and meeting him in person. Unfortunately, my experience was far from what I was promised, and I regret choosing him for this project. The project was poorly managed, and the work was subpar. The lack of professionalism, the contractors disorganization, and the numerous issues with the work left us extremely disappointed. For someone who promised high-end results and charged a premium, the experience was far below expectations.I would advise anyone considering this contractor to be extremely cautious. The project's for this client consisted of a full bathroom remodel and a full basement remodel but requiring full gutting and demo.
The bathroom portion of the project was quoted to be around a 6 to 8 week completion and we did not meet that time frame we ended up completing around 11 weeks.
The basement portion of this project was quoted to be around 5 and a half months for completion with the bathroom portion to be done simultaneously. We completed the basement portion including the bathroom portion in around a total of 13 weeks nearly 2 whole months ahead of schedule because the homeowner insisted the projects be completed by Christmas time frame when the original work scope was to be until February time frame.
We met delays in only waiting for building officials to do required inspections loosing multiply days of work because of waiting on inspections. Once all inspections were Passed and completed work proceeded some times even same day as inspections.
The "lack of professionalism" quoted was about issues that came up through discovering and working on the home. the clients brought imperfections to my attention and I offered resolutions and the clients were not accepting of any resolution brought to the table.
The claims of poor quality of work are due to the client forcing a cut in the time frame by nearly 40% of the job time schedule. We work our best on all aspects of construction and remodeling. But there is only so much you can do when a timeframe is cut so short. Furthermore when the job was complete and the clients did have a list of a few items to be fixed a standard "punch list" for jobs of this scale when I received this list it was accompanied with "At this point,**** doesn't want you in our home anymore". With the clients not evening allowing myself or my crew to "correct" any punch list items.

5 starsMatt F. was prompt to respond to my request for a handicapped ramp estimate. He fully explained the ADA listened to my "vision" and gave me several.options. Matt made sure our AC unit was accessible slfor servicing. He was knowledgeable of the City regulations for permits. The finished ramp, I think, adds value to the house much more so than a metal ramp. I am sure my neighbors do not mind looking at it. Matt suggested wood that we would not have to treat or paint in the years to come, as I requested because being in my 70s, I did not want a yearly project.I recommend Fortini Construction especially being local and a young businessman, he should be around for years.Fortini Construction And Remodeling Inc

5 starsFortini Construction and Remodeling installed hardwood flooring in two bedrooms of our home; removed a wall of shiplap - reinsulated the wall and installed drywall (taped & mud, primer coat of paint); fixed a awkward closet and installed a pocket door. The crew was even willing to wait to install the baseboard after the floors were finished. All through the process there was great communication before, during and after the project.
