We recently moved our two handicapped/elderly family members to a wonderful senior living facility . The team from Bert Hill were amazing! Melissa, Shawn & Dominic were super. Very professional, personal & just plain nice folks doing their best to make the big day go well & stress free. They couldn't have been more understanding, kind or professional if they tried! we hope that they get a raise!

Paid $200/hour for 3 movers, instead of $160/hour for the 2 movers they sent. The agreement was 3. They shoved and broke a few pieces, and tried to charge to fix them!
Stunned that they delivered, all on video, 8+ fewer boxes than they carted away, including 4 boxes packed with 100 year dishes, and llardros, saved by family for decades, marked fragile. Not ******, MRE or moving boxes, 20+ lbs each. They refuse to check their video to vet the boxes from the van opening on their end, showing their movers unloading their gifts (2) 14 lb cat litters, a big white pillow, a butane stove, 6 Mason jars, (2) large beverage powders.
They refuse to track them after leaving; they were not brought in *on video* here. My landlord (a former officer who works for the state now) helped on his lunch break getting items up the stairs, as they couldn't, absent the 3rd mover. Then he fixed the dresser and put wood under the broken bed frame they cracked.
Haven't filed a police report to get the film; heard through the grapevine state workers aren't supposed to have calls and reports at their residence; and over a fear of being asked to move. Not to mention wasting his time again. He offered to go talk to them about just breaking the bed! Haven't said anything about the boxes...
They packed lampshades and a stereo, already wrapped, in $30 boxes, and dumped 9 drawers of items into boxes, after we agreed they would carry the drawers like all other movers. They failed to respond to emails until a 2 star review was left. Then just said all was delivered. But they weren't there, and it's all memorialized in others' objective records!
Why not just research the video? The (1) smaller box, with same items, is a few thousand dollars. We just want the items back; pawn shops can be checked. Who sleeps? This company was recommended. Devastating. Every response was defensive. They just wrote they delivered them! Who sleeps anymore.

i don't understand the claim, i called the customer to go over the claim. she did not what to talk to me, only by e-mail. she wrote do not respond on every letter she emailed. 1st complaint was on 12/24/23 7:42 pm.
I responded on January 4, 2024 with a letter addressing each concern. we moved her on May 26, 2023, into our storage facility. On 12/18/2023 we had moved her from storage to her new home. We sent a crew of two men. the job was small, moving a tall long chest, and apprx. 60 boxes. all these items were inventoried for at the original location signed by both parties and given copies. upon delivery the customer had signed the inventory that everything was delivered in good condition, but the mechanical bed would not fit up the stairs. the crew leader said he would bring back the bed and notch out a small section of the bottom of the frame to fit up the stairs and the customer agreed.
She was upset that she had to pay packing charges to pack up up the contents in the dresser (large and fragile). the rates had increased since the last move. i had credited her credit card for the difference of rates and a discount on the packing.
