    ****** J. ******* CPA PC was the preparer of our 2023 Federal, and state  taxes we submitted all of our documents and paid for services on April 17, 2024. As of todays date November 10, 2024 we have no proof of the 2023 taxes being submitted to IRS. We have contacted the said firm nurmeous times with no clarification from them on our filings

    I am an 86-year-old handicapped, wheelchair-bound, woman. On Friday, May 3, 2024, my caretaker took me to my accountant's office in *********, ** to inquire on the status of my taxes being re-filed, that was previously returned due to an error on ***'s behalf. I had attempted to contact his office a tremendous amount of times and left many messages that were never answered, hence why I went in person. When I entered the business the secretary names ********************************* approached me and I kindly asked if *************************** (her father) was in the office to speak to directly. **** rudely told me she would have him call me and I stated that response would not suffice because I had been awaiting his call back since February, 2024. **** proceeded to scream at me and tell me I am harassing the business by calling too often, which would have been resolved if they handled their business professionally. She screamed at me to get the f*** out of the office or she would call the police. I told her that would be fine, and awaited her call to them. She left the front of the office and went into a back office where she proceeded to call ****** and screamed to him "that stupid f****** b**** ******************************* is here. I told her to get the f*** out or I would call the police. If she doesn't get the f*** out of here, I will drag her out by the back of her neck!" *********************** screamed these atrocious things about a paying, compliant customer!!! She then proceeds to say, "Oh and guess who brought the f****** bitch? The f****** b**** from the first floor!" This second comment made no sense to me or my caretaker, *************************, who never even said a word the entire time! This was bizarre because ****** did not know **** and did not understand why she referred to her in that manner. The cops arrived after I called them, as I was in shock and crying and scared for my safety at this point. ****** walks into the office shortly after the police arrived and accuses me of causing a scene in his office, which could not be further from the truth, since all I was doing was calmly inquiring on the status of my taxes. ****** advised ****** that his secretary called her a f****** *****, and ****** replied to her "well maybe you are one!". This occurred in front of law enforcement. ****** and I were then served a no trespassing order and vacated the property. The way I was treated was wretched and I am still in shock and emotionally disturbed 3 days later. This cannot continue to happen, and it is verbal elderly abuse and threatening to harm a handicapped 86 year old paying customer. I want my taxes filed or my money refunded and I want an apology for what took place in the office that day at approx. 12:30pm est. This behavior is despicable and disgusting. This business should not be allowed to operate when they treat customers in this manner. I am exploring my options of pressing charges as well. Thank you.

    Let no good turn go unpunished. *********************** surfers fron dementia and several anger issue problems. I have been doing *****'s returns for about 30 years. Never had a problem until she started cashing other people's lottery tickets in a scam to help other people illegally avoid paying income taxes.  I felt it was my duty to continue helping ***** with her taxes in spite of the ever increasing dificulties in dealing with her. I am loyal to my clients and accept the fact that older clients need more care than others.  Because of a prior year taxpayer false reporting  issue I was unable to efile her return. I mailed it in. I explained to ***** that it would take a few extra weeks to get her return. I assumed she understood that. Wrong! ***** with the help of a health care worker came to my office screaming where was I and where was her refund. Appearently ***** thought we where just supposed to smile while she acted like a 2 year old being loud and belligerent and unwilling to except the fact that her refund was delayed. ***** called the police because politely asking her to leave was somhow not OK. The police came and after hearing both sides suggested we file a no treaspassing order against ***** and the equally loud and beligerent help care worker. Which we did.  According to Massachusetts records, ***** RECEIVED HER REFUND THREE DAYS AFTER her obnoxious display of unexceptable behavior. ***** is using the BBB to "get back at me" *****, if you are reading this, please get help.

    I am rejecting this response because nobody was belligerent but **** who approached me angrily. All of our interactions were recorded that show nobody was belligerent but the staff. The fact that this man tries to justify his employee **** calling me a f****** c*** and threatening to hurt me if I did not leave, (even the cops agreed this woman was manic and unapproachable while they handled the situation) is DISGUSTING. This is being reported to the Attorney General. My care worker kindly told ***************** you after he agreed the woman I was with was f****** b**** as **** called her! He doesn't even know her. Those are the only two words she spoke. I did not raise my voice once and my recording and the office's camera's will prove this. I may be old and but don't try to make up diagnoses for me to cover your faulty business actions. I had a witness who is 39. THIS IS ATROCIOUS. Yes, I got my refund, but was told not to cash it after I went to another accountant's office for help who advised he has been making up numbers for years on my tax returns, and I should not have received the refunds I did. It was determined he has manipulated my tax returns. Many reviews, complaints, and court cases have arisen against this agency since its inception-this is viewable to the public, I am NOT making this up. Is this man admitting he knowingly and fraudulently filed taxes he should not have for a client regarding the lottery ticket?! This man resorts to name calling and additional elderly abuse in his response, as well as admitting he is a fraud. Wow!! RED FLAG BBB. This abuse must stop or it will continue to harm the most vulnerable of the population, the elderly. An apology would have gone far.

    Obviously after reading *****'s response gives you every thing you need to know about ***** and the method in which she conducts herself. Profanity laced comments as she has posted underscores her charactor. *****'s issue was not receiving her refund.  She received it three weeks ago.  We can all move on now and ***** can find someone else to vent her major anger issues. Get help *****! Good luck. Is your family talking to you yet?
