Paid over $20000 in full to Mighty Dog Roofing Concord MA in Oct 2023 to replace entire roof and replace 2 existing skylights. Noticed water stains around 1 of the 2 skylights by Feb 2025. Numerous calls & initial complaint to BBB before company finally come by to even look at it 6 weeks later with water stain spread, paints around it bubbling. Had pictures taken on roof by other roofing specialist documenting Skylight leak Not corrected according to manufacturer guidelines and multiple bruised/ broken shingles used on our brand new roof. On 3/11/25, Sent pics to this company and town bldg inspector & waited over 10 weeks. On 5/23/25, ************ still refuse to take any action and instead owner Mr **** texted us to say hes considering his options and cannot handle this type of attention because its his wedding anniversary. Has Warranty with ***** Corning who insist we work with this company who 1) gave us a leaky skylight resulting in water damage on our ceiling 2) repeatedly delay/ refuse to perform corrective repair. We wish to use an Alternative Trustworthy Roofer using our Warranty to repair our roof.

    Business Response

    Date: 06/25/2025

We appreciate the opportunity to provide an update regarding this project.
Following some initial communication issues, which were due to outdated contact information from a legacy call center no longer affiliated with our business, we were able to reconnect with the homeowner at the end of February 2025. Once direct communication was reestablished, our team remained consistently engaged to address the concerns raised.
    Project Timeline:
March 1, 2025: Our team visited the property for an initial evaluation of the reported skylight leak. Despite snow on the roof, we conducted a preliminary inspection.
March 8, 2025: The first round of exterior repair work was completed to address potential sources of the leak.
March 17, 2025: We returned to evaluate the interior after allowing time for the area to dry, ensuring an accurate assessment.
March 24, 2025: The first scope of interior repairs was completed, including drywall and cosmetic work to address ceiling damage.
Ongoing through Spring 2025: Our team continued to monitor and test for any signs of ongoing moisture.
May 23, 2025: Additional ceiling repairs were completed, including addressing visible water stains, some of which pre-dated our roof installation. For accuracy, this work was performed on the owner's wedding anniversary, which explains the reference made during a personal scheduling conversation that day.
During this time, we also suggested involving ***** Corning directly to provide an independent set of recommended exterior corrective actions based on their review of site photos.
June 20, 2025: Our certified installer completed all recommended exterior repairs in accordance with ***** Cornings guidance. This included skylight detailing adjustments, replacement of any damaged or misaligned shingles, inspection of flashing clearances, and a full debris cleanup.
    Current Status:
The skylight leak has been fully addressed.
The affected interior drywall has been dried, repaired, and cosmetic staining corrected, including older pre-existing stains.
***** Cornings recommended exterior repairs were completed in full.
All work has been documented with before, during, and after photos, which have been provided to the homeowner, ***** Corning, and the town building inspector.
We have completed all recommended corrective work and provided full documentation to all parties involved.

Below, a link to the report provided to the homeowner can be found which includes the documentation for the work completed.

    Respectfully,

    **** ********
