    I have been waiting for drawings and care instructions for my project now for approximately 9 months. I first told the drawings would be provided just after completion of the project in August 2023. Then I was told they would be provided before the end of 2023. Another inquiry I was told sometime in March. Here we are in May and I again inquired and was told in 2 weeks.These drawings and care instructions were paid for back at the beginning of the project and I have repeatedly requested copies of them prior to spring because now they are overdue for care. If I can not receive a resolution by filing this complaint, then I have no other alternative than to file suit against Artec Landscaping for the cost of the drawings and any potential issues I have with the plants not being cared for properly at the beginning of this spring season.

    I paid Tony A of Artec Landscaping $950 on 7/15/22 to provide a detailed design with pricing estimate for a backyard patio, walkway and staircase. Over the past year he has failed to provide this service. We met with him to discuss his plan with us on 11/29/22 but after that meeting he never followed up. In addition, the napkin sketch he provided on this date was not what we requested (we were crystal clear we could not go beyond the 18 ft boundaries due to our septic tank and leach field) nor did it include the walkway and staircase. As a follow-up to that meeting, Tony said he was going to get back to us in a week or two (early December 2022). We had one correspondence in January 2023 but did not hear from again until he responded to my first certified letter on April 1, 2023. By the end of March 2023, we were done waiting for Tony and moved on. Clearly Tony did not provide the service we, in good faith and very patiently waited for. We expect to be reimbursed. I have sent him several requests for reimbursement but has not responded. After waiting 9 months I formally requested via certified letter reimbursement on March 29, 2023, again on July 12, 2023 & July 31, 2023. We just want our money back. I have many text messages and email where he continued to string us along for over 9 months. Thank you,***************

    Just wanted to respond to a call from your office regarding a complaint that we had provided this customer with a completed design months ago, here is the design we supplied them with that they now want a refund for, because they changed their mind about multiple items, and expected us to redraw the whole thing, thats not how that works. We provided the service they initially requested.

    I am rejecting this response because: The napkin sketch he provided was not remotely what we requested or discussed. During our meeting with Mr. Acevedo on November 29th, we expressed our concerns regarding the initial sketch provided, which did not align with our specifications, lacked key elements (such as the walkway and back entry staircase), and omitted pricing details. Moreover, it was made unequivocally clear that any design element encroaching upon our septic tank or leach field was unacceptable.
    In response to these concerns, Mr. Acevedo acknowledged the need to provide a revised design that aligned with our requirements and agreed to meet within a two-week timeframe. However, despite our patience and efforts spanning a total of nine months (with five months elapsed since our last meeting), Mr. Acevedo has not delivered the service for which he was hired. We were left with no choice but to find our own solution to address the flooding issue in our backyard during storms, as the anticipated design was never provided.
    Attached is an email where Mr. Acevedo acknowledges his commitment to provide the design but, regrettably, does not follow through.
    If Mr. Acevedo disagrees with our assessment of the situation, I must request that Mr. Acevedo provides evidence (in writing, text, email, or any other documented communication) demonstrating that he sent us an updated design per our specifications. Otherwise he owes us $950.
