    I received a letter saying Sovos was holding unclaimed property of mine. When I call their number , they won't discuss my property with me or in what timeframe I'll receive it. I been treated like a dog.

    Sovos provides software solutions and services for business customers to report on unclaimed property to state regulators.  Sovos does not itself hold unclaimed property on behalf of its customers or any individuals.

    The letter referenced in the complaint relates to a data security incident and contains important information regarding that incident.  However, the letter should not be interpreted to mean that Sovos itself holds any unclaimed property.

    For additional information regarding any unclaimed property, you should contact the state regulator where you live or may have property to search their unclaimed property database.  For *****, the website associated with the applicable state regulator is www.claimittexas.gov.

    Better Business Bureau:I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # ********. Please add your rejection comments below; if you do not provide any details, your complaint will be closed as Answered. 

    The letter sent to me stated they had my property at a ********** center located in ******, **. My property is not with the State of Texas because Sovos has it. So their explanation makes no sense. I never mentioned a data breach? I appreciate their auto reply and not solving the problem. 

    You must provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution.  If you do not enter a reason for your rejection, your complaint will be closed as Answered.]

    If you could provide additional information regarding the letter you received (including a copy of the letter) via email to ******************************** or attach it to the complaint here, we would be happy to investigate it further.

    As mentioned in the initial response, Sovos does not hold unclaimed property on behalf of individuals and provides unclaimed property services to business customers only.  Sovos does not operate a processing center in ******, *** 

    We will need more information to see if this matter is actually connected with Sovos in some way or what may be going on here.

    I was contracted to design 8 medical illustrations by a gentlemen names ***** at Sovos Compliance, LLC.I completed 4 of the illustration but then they said they needed to cancele the other 4 due to a emergency and want me to send them **** before the check they sent even cleared. I told him not untill the check clears and of course the check bounced and put my account under investigation.

    Sovos businesses includes neither health nor medical activities. Beyond, we do not use any illustrations of any kind to promote or illustrate our activities. Our service providers are paid through a proper procurement process. Thus, we are not aware of any legitimate engagement of the type described in your correspondence.
