      in early december super service today installed a heat pump system with the installation came a rebate from reading municipal light as well as a tax credit. it is now early march and after several phone calls and about a dozen emails they still have not submitted the paperwork so the rebate can be processed. they are very hard to get a hold of. the team members who answer the phone work remotely and are unable to transfer the call to the project manager or above. so you just leave a message which results in every single one of them being ignored.

      It has been a week since the complaint was filed.  i received a phone call from the project manager and set up a time to meet with him so he could get the information he required to submit the paperwork to reading municipal light.  the appointment came and went, he never showed nor called to cancel or reschedule.  after that i received a response from **** on this forum.  i emailed him wedneday and asked him to reply back with a good time to contact him and please supply his contact information.  friday mid day and still no response after two emails.   i am still very unclear as to what the issue is here as to why they simple will not fill out the paperwork and submit it?  nor am i clear as to why after several phone calls and emails this company as a rule does not reply to any messages?    one would think that for a customer to contact the ********************** that perhaps there would be a sense of urgency to restore their good name.  there is nothing personal here.  we are satisified with the work performed not only on this job but all the other times we have used them.  *****

      Super Service Today ****************************************************************************** ************ On 11-16-2024, my electric hot water heater broke. I called Super Service Today and **** came to my house. After looking at my damaged heater, he said it needed replacement. I asked if he could do it that day, Saturday. He said that only ********** was open and his company did not like their water heaters. I would have to wait for Monday when his supplier was open. Well, guess what? On Monday his men installed a brand new Rheem hot water heater, and yes, ********** carries that brand.**** informed me that for $3125.24 I could have the job done Monday 11/18/2024. I asked what the cost of the heater was and he said $600. I asked what his labor costs were per hour. He responded that they do not factor that but simply give a cost per job. As the price seemed EXORBITANT, I asked how many hours it would take. He said two men would complete the job in FIVE HOURS.Well, I asked the installer how much time was this job- picking up the heater and installing it and he responded TWO HOURS. Do the math!2 men working 2 hours @ say $200/hour=$800.The heater=$600 Massachusetts sales tax= $87.50 Total ethical price=$1487.50 I was scammed for $1637.74.

      11/20 - ****** ***** texted me to cancel the above appointment.

      I have not heard from the business in response to my complaint.

      Emergency Fee - $150

      Cost of Materials (tank and miscellaneous fittings) - $937.82

      Permit fees/filing - $50

      Standing inspection (based off of time window given by inspector) 4 hours, $500

      6 Year guarantee support and 1 year labor warranty if anything goes wrong you have us to manage the issue quickly.

      Transfer ************** gun - $250

      Gas Charge ($15 per day) - $30

      Job sold for $3,125.34

      Overhead/ Profit left on job - $207.52


      We try to target 20% profit on each job so we can continue to support our team. As you can see we didnt achieve that on this job.

      I WANT A REFUND.

      Adie: The plumber who did the installation came to my house and was here for a total of one hour and 15 minutes with an assistant. He told me the total time needed for this job for these two men was two hours. Two technicians for a total of two hours, not eight hours as listed in this invoice, which is a total fabrication. Also, I was told the emergency fee would be waived if I hired them and an emergency fee was charged. In addition, I consulted with the building inspector, City Of *****, and a standing inspection For this job is not mandatory and I was not told that. I would have refused it as most people do because the cost of this 4 hours $500 which is outrageous and unnecessary. So as you could say, I was way way overcharged  (at least $1000) and scammed. This is highly unethical. I am disappointed that these people have such a low level of ethics and their God is money. Its sad, but they will learn someday. Please investigate Super Service Today Inc.

      You sent an uneducated tech to install a dishwasher that caught fire 30 mins after install. He had no idea how to do the job and relied on ******* and the book to wire it wrong. The power plug was reused from a different mfg. The tech should have gone and bought a new one. The insultation that was white turned black. The wiring was done wrong.

      I am not sure if my original response came through as it said the phone call recordings were too long, however, in short, We have the call recordings confirming that once notified of any potential issues(no fires reported during this call), we were willing and able to send someone immediately to resolve them. Because it took longer than 20 minutes to get to the customers house, we were not allowed access and the customer had someone else address the job. At this point on the second call, the customer told us" we were lucky we didn't set the house on fire".  SST wanted nothing more than to take a look at the dishwasher and make everything right for the customer free from any additional charges within an hour of notifying us of issues buy were not allowed to. The customer is now saying they want a full refund because SST set their house on fire.

      I had a drain problem. Called a number and asked if this was *****. The answer I got was yes. Instead another company showed up (the one I am complaining about) They said referral was from ***** and that they worked together. Turns out it was not. While they did clear the drain. They also suggested I needed a more expensive cleaning performed. (about $1300). I accepted and then got a call as they stated I needed to replace the entire drain system (based upon camera survey). They never offered video of said survey. Sales person came out and quoted me a price of more than $28,000. I got suspicious at this point and called another company that does pipe relining. They came did the camera survey (for a cost), gave me video, and stated my drains were in NO need of repair. I think that this company that came out was disreputable and I didn't need the additional drain service (water jet). It was just way to scam me and get an additional sum of money. I would hope there is some penalty that they would be subject to.

      I have been waiting for a call and have not received. I also had another company come out and they they me I need do nothing right now. I know I am going to get nowhere with this. I was hoping for a negotiated settlement re monies I spent but I realize not that is also a waste of time

      We have tried several times to reach *************** by phone to go over the complaint.  After watching the video there are some issues with the line and I am not sure who told him that there are no issues.  We have sent him a copy of the video which clearly shows areas with a lot of build up and the cast iron is in poor condition.  It has been 5 weeks since we were out there last and I would be surprised if he hasn't had any issues since we were out.

      The answer I got this time was exactly the same as the last time. Why would I accept it. People who do not read or learn history are bound to repeat it. Another well recommenced drain company was out and their recommendation was to do nothing right now. I was promised a call from some manager. I have not received it on my cell or home. No message has been left, so there is a disconnect to what they are stating. Pants on fire. Well you know the beginning of that phrase. I am done but will never accept any answer they give as it is untrustworthy.
