    I would give the company zero stars if this site would let me. ProMerchant is terrible. We set up our account and didn't start using it for a couple of months. After the very first credit card transaction, the funds were not put in our account. I called I was told that we didn't complete the set-up process. So why didn't someone tell me that and why were we allowed to run a transaction if it wasn't completed? I finished the process that same day. About an hour later, I received an email that said they had decided "due to the risk" that they would be closing our account. We are a well established company that has been in business over 20 years with a good credit rating. The one transaction we used their service to process, of over $900, is being held hostage. They will not give us the funds for at least 120 days and then it will be "reviewed". I was told that It could take over 6 months. This is unacceptable. It was only one transaction. I do not recommend using this company. Seems like a scam.

    Dont do it!! I have had nothing but issues with this company. I had issues with My bank account # and and I kept getting messages that my account was on hold. And that things were mis matched. I have been trying for over a week to.get this corrected. I have all the paperwork and have submitted it to them and the processing company so many times. I just want my $ so I can close this account. Between these people my bank and everything else I am ready to close my new business and never try again! I mean how do you have a business in these times and not accept credit cards? Well that will be me. I am sad that I chose this company but it seemed like it was good and they were good. They aren't and it's not. I just want my $ so I can be done with this!!

    Sadly, I will never recommend this company. Make long story short, the sales rep ******** is always reachable before purchase, and disappears right after you sign the contract. The promised charging percentage is totally different from the actual charges. They actually charged 30% of the total transaction. I contacted the customer services team with this issue with several phone calls, and each spent roughly 2 hours explaining my situation. They transferred me to several departments and were unable to solve or even provide a proper explanation to it. Then, I decided to close the service. A higher customer service leader named ******* got in the line and promised he will explain the details of my statement, at the same time, he will waive all the monthly fees and charges as the issue was not solved. I give it a try, wait for another week, no call back or email. I left a voice message, no one answered again. Sadly, please do not trust any agents from this company. They sound nice, but never keep their problems. If a problem they are unable to solve, they will just leave you alone. They aren't worth even one star.
