Recently I have discharged my father from the care of Fall River healthcare nursing home to bring him to my own home and take care of him after he suffered a severe stroke. This nursing home was very unprofessional and not very clean or sanitary in their practices to begin with but I didnt have a choice during the beginning of my dads recovery. Long story short I now have my dad at home for almost 2 months after a very unprofessional discharge where I received wrong information at every point of contact. From nursing, to PT, to the counselor and business office , they all gave bad information and seemed to have little to no information that could help his discharge go smoothly. At this current time I am trying to obtain my dad social security checks from them that they are taking very long to get to me for some reason. I have been taking care of my fathers needs financially for the moment but could really use the help to provide the best care for my dad possible and they are holding his money for no reason and will not give me adequate information on when I can expect a payout for the amount of money they are holding that belongs to my father.
