I put a refundable deposit down with Harr Toyota for a Toyota Sienna. We decided to go with another car elsewhere and I have spent since March trying to get my deposit back. They have yet to send it to me.

We sent a check in March and apparently was never cashed. Once I received this information I had my office cancel that check and overnight a new one. If it is still an issue please reach out to me directly.

The cost of my free estimate" at Harr Jeep was $84.98. They list free estimates as one of the many dealer amenities in the service section of their website. Since they offered the free estimate on their website I decided to schedule an appointment to get a quote on brake work and see if they could win my business. My wife brought our vehicle in and they proceeded to inspect it and come back with a quote that is more than we had anticipated for a vehicle with 30,000 miles on it. She thanked them for taking the time to look over our Jeep and said we let them know if we decide to move forward with their quote. At this point in time they said ok that will be $84.98 please. This is $84.98 more expensive then any other free quote I have ever received for any service in the past. I requested an explanation of why a free quote would cost anything beyond zero dollars through live chat in Harrs website and was assured I would be contacted by the end of 2/16. This now being 3 PM on 2/17 I am confident that no explanation will be ever be offered. Which is unfortunate because I would love to hear the logic behind such a costly free quote. I would very much prefer to have their logic explained through the BBB resolution portal process and avoid having to escalate the Massachusetts Attorney Generals Office.

Thank you for bringing this to my attention. We strive to make the customer experience a good one, but occasionally we fall short. At one time did offer "free estimates" but have discontinued that amenity. Unfortunately that feature was not removed from our website. We are having our website updated to reflect the current amenities offered. In the meantime we will be sending a full refund and I apologize for the inconvenience this has caused.

Hello, I would like to report and representation concerning a recent automobile purchase (December 02 thru 03) at **** Chrysler Dodge ******** automotive group. I believe the dealership's financed-transaction to be of absolute and utter fraudulent, Bad faith contract, online pricing bait and switch, originally agreed principal cost tremendously manipulated as well as a quasi inapplicable state tax and registration fee inclusion even though i have exemptions from both. Additionally, I find other horrendous charges included which the dealership is refusing to explain or breakdown and I'm guessing these are probably controversial finance charges, following multiple attempts to rectify the situation. Upon signing (although reluctant due urgent need for new vehicle), I was made to "sign here, sign here" with and only with an unsupervised trainee who did not go over terms, conditions and clearly demonstrated utter lack for her actions. After conducting a brief research, I believe it will be prudent to attack instruct to freeze and or preserve all video footage as of December 2nd through 9th to avoid voluntary destruction of possible evidence material. Their online reviews are disgusting but hindsight is obviously nothing short of 20/20 and so knowing some of their capabilities and lengths they are willing to engage, I would like your professional legal help and assistance everyway possible. There are two reasons why I'm pursuing this course for redress. Firstly, i abhor injustice and secondly, I believe they owe me a several thousands of dollars in interest and other unexplained charges. I have all my documents and data from the onset of transaction and willing to share or break down and copy your office once we get started on our best course of action. Injustice has never sat well with me and I probably wouldn't be starting this year; especially not when the bully is notorious for inflicting intentional harm and or damages. Please feel free to check out their reviews on yelp @ *****************- Finance manager/main culprit and @***********************- General Sales manager. More facts to follow after I'm able to finalize calculations and scan during the week ahead. In the mean time, look forward to hearing from your office at your earliest convenience. I can be reached directly at ************* or *************.

BBB spoke directly with the consumer to clarify the issue and his desired resolution.  He advised that he was under the impression that he was being charged a certain price for the vehicle and when it came time to sign the paperwork nothing was explained to him, they just pointed out the places he needed to sign.  He then realized that the amount he had signed off on was around $9,000 more than what he had verbally agreed to.  His desired resolution is for the business to provide an explanation of charges and documentation with a breakdown of exactly how they got to the final amount he signed off on.

We have met with the Customer and came up with a resolution to cancel most of the aftermarket products and send the refund to his finance source to lower the finance balance. As of today I am waiting on the customer to verify if he wants the extended warranty canceled or not. Nothing has been as of today as I am waiting on that information from the customer in order to proceed.
