We signed an agreement with Terrain in Jan 2023 to provide the engineering drawings and paperwork to gain a building permit with **** Arundel county for a garage. We have paid them over $3,000 for their services and have not been granted a permit. The nature of this complaint is non-performance. They simply have ignored us since the last comments were completed by the county on attempt #2 to gain a permit. We can't get them to call us back or respond to our emails about a plan forward to gain a building permit. On Aug 3, we arranged a meeting with ****** **** at 2p. He indicated he would be available on that day and time to meet with us. We arrived and he was not there it meet with us. Since then, we have called and emailed several times and no one has gotten back to us. This complaint is about non-performance. We paid them to provide us a service:1) to be the interface to the permit department at *********************** 2) to develop the document required to gain a permit.3) to provide us professional advise with respect to the plan to minimize the number of plantings required to gain a building *********, no call backs, no email responses, no new submissions. They have been non-performing. The first submission did not include existing trees on site plan (which a company that promotes themselves as an engineering and permit company should know needs to be in the submission). We paid them to survey the property to add the trees to the site plan. The first submission also including have the soil at the base of a tree to be disturbed soil. Which the county required additional plantings (trees and shrubs). Terrain had no professional advise to this response. It was us who suggested moving the placement of the garage to not disturb the soil under this tree. The second submission was missing the location of the existing septic. Again, not professional - costing use time and money.
