As a corporate flight attendant, I underwent the initial FACTS training to obtain my certification. However, during the registration process for this certified training course, Flightess, LLC included an additional business hospitality course without our knowledge. This course, which was not a requirement or industry standard, cost over $1000, and we were not given the option to opt out and save this additional expense.
Flightess bundled both the Flightess business hospitality course and the FACTS training together, making it appear as though both were mandatory for certification. This was misleading, as the flight attendant course alone is sufficient for certification. Unfortunately, I completed both courses without being able to opt out of the business hospitality component.
Subsequently, I added the hospitality course to my résumé assuming it was necessary due to the way it was presented. Months later, while in the process of job hunting and sending out my résumé, I received a direct message on ********* from Jamie ******, a representative from Flightess. To my surprise, she accused me of dishonesty and unethical behavior, alleging that I had not taken any such course. This accusation left me completely blindsided and confused. Seeking clarification, I responded to Jamie, explaining that I did indeed invest the additional $1000 in their business aviation course. However, instead of addressing my concerns with professionalism, she continued to communicate in a demeaning and disrespectful manner. She went as far as accusing me of intentionally lying on my résumé.
Upon further reflection, I realized that while the title of the business aviation course on my résumé may have been slightly incorrect, every skill listed below it was accurate. I possess a paid receipt for the course, as well as a PDF document outlining the skills we learned. Additionally, I have photographic and video evidence of me performing these skills.
It is disheartening to have faced such unwarranted accusations and to be treated disrespectfully despite having evidence to support my claims.
I firmly requested Flightess to cease their false accusations and harassment towards me. I also raised the issue of their practice of bundling their course with mandatory training without clearly stating that participation in the course was optional. However, instead of addressing my concerns in a professional manner, Flightess embarked on a smear campaign against me. Flightess took it upon themselves to approach various ******** groups, businesses, and even my own employer, falsely accusing me of fabricating information on my résumé. Furthermore, they continued this behavior by posting similar accusations on their public ********* account. Throughout this ordeal, Flightess engaged in bullying and harassment, with the intention of tarnishing my professional reputation and potentially causing me to be blacklisted from the industry.
I must emphasize that Flightess' actions and their unethical practices are the most appalling I have ever encountered in my professional life.Business Response

I appreciate the opportunity to address the concerns raised by Ms. **** in her recent complaint against Flightess. It appears there is a misunderstanding regarding the nature of Ms. ****'s transaction, and I would like to clarify the details.
Firstly, Ms. **** has mentioned a transaction with Flightess; however, she has not provided any receipts or concrete evidence of such transactions. What she has presented are materials related to Aircare FACTS, which licenses a course based on teachings from Flightess. It is important to note that Flightess is not involved in the "bundling" or "selling" of courses that Ms. **** claims to have purchased.
Flightess licenses its material to Aircare FACTS for their Business Aviation Hospitality Training, but Flightess is not directly responsible for the sales process. If Ms. **** believes she was wrongly sold a bundled package, her complaint may be more appropriately directed towards Aircare FACTS.
Moreover, Ms. ****'s assertion that Flightess publicly smeared her lacks empirical proof. Industry colleagues independently gained access to her resume with a need to verify her enrollment in Flightess' Mentorship Program, a more in-depth course compared to the Business Aviation Hospitality training she completed. Flightess did not publicly shame her, and discussions about the risks of resume plagiarism on public platforms did not involve Ms. ****'s name.
When I requested Ms. **** to accurately represent her training by removing the Flightess Mentorship Program from her resume, she responded with inappropriate and vile language. Evidence of these interactions is available.
In summary, Ms. **** was never a customer or client of Flightess, and her complaint appears to stem from a misunderstanding of the entities involved in her training. I am more than willing to cooperate with any investigation to provide additional information or clarification if required.Customer Answer

Complaint: ********
I am rejecting this response because:
Jaime ****** Flightess has omitted her responses to my manager, *******, as well as the posts from the ****** * girls that ******* is referring to. Through the provided email screenshots, it is evident that Jamie ****** Flightess made public false statements about me, prompting the necessary intervention from my manager. Additionally, my manager informed me that Flightess personally called her, demanding that I be fired for allegedly "lying on my résumé" and was publicly smearing me in various groups.
Subsequent to Flightess's public inclusion of my name in various groups, alleging resume falsification, she proceeded to publish a conspicuous post on her Instagram. This post unmistakably referred to me, drawing on her earlier explicit statements about my alleged dishonesty on my résumé.
Jaime ****** Flightess has also yet to furnish any evidence of my engagement in "inappropriate or vile language" with her. Attached herewith is the initial Instagram conversation between us. Flightess persisted in harassing me across multiple platforms, prompting my prompt request for her to cease such behavior.
This situation revolves around a skill set that I fully paid for and had no option to opt out of. It's crucial to emphasize that the only required adjustment involved altering two words on my résumé. Had Jamie ****** genuinely aimed to support new cabin hosts entering the industry, she would have recognized and acknowledged that the course and skill set on my resume constituted what I had paid for. Kindly addressing the minor mistake directly with me would have been a seamless and simple resolution. Regrettably, she opted to exploit the situation, driven by envy and greed, and intensified her malicious intent and behavior. The misinformation she has spread about me has jeopardized my reputation and career. Flightess has wielded her influence in our field to maliciously undermine the career of a new cabin host. Consequently, I am requesting a full refund for her course that I was coerced into paying for.
Sincerely,
****** ****Business Response

As the owner of Flightess, I can confirm has Ms **** have never been a customer of Flightess or directly paid Flightess a dollar. Despite her assertions, she has failed to provide any evidence of “coercement of sale” with Flightess, such as transaction records or communications, because none exist.
The Flightess Mentorship Program is highly exclusive, and Ms. ****'s attempt to falsely advertise her participation in our program is both misleading and unethical.
Ms. ****'s attempt to attribute her misrepresentation as a simple mistake of semantics is disingenuous. She knowingly listed the Flightess Mentorship Program on her resume alongside the Business Aviation Hospitality program she completed through Aircare. The resume attachment she provided clearly demonstrates her deliberate attempt to enhance her qualifications falsely. Such actions undermine the integrity of our industry and mislead potential employers who rely on accurate representations of candidates' credentials.
Regarding the alleged use of harassment language, I must vehemently deny Ms. ****'s accusations. The screenshot she provided does not contain any evidence of such harassment from me. I have consistently conducted myself in a professional manner and have only reached out to Ms. **** via email and ********* to request the removal of false information from her resume.
Furthermore, I must clarify that it was Ms. ****'s manager who reached out to me personally, not the other way around. I never spoke on the phone with ******* *********. Ms. ****'s manager expressed concern about the private conversations happening with ****** * managers and other industry leaders regarding allegations Ms. **** made regarding her qualifications.
Ms. ****'s claims of damage to her career are baseless. Any harm done is a result of her own actions, including her combative behavior made in industry forums and Industry ******** groups. I have attached evidence of these statements for your review. You can see her make make public comments on ******** threads telling other industry professionals “your comment sounds bitter. Do better” “I dont want to be a part of a bitter community who puts down an attractive women because they’re threatened. It’s disgusting. You all need to grow up”. Her vile language includes calling me “****” to another industry professional (screenshot attached). Additionally, you can see Ms **** also become combative in a Corporate Aviation ******** group when she didn’t get the information she wanted which ultimately lead to her removal from the group and her reply was “Keep your secrets ladies”. This unprofessional behavior of Ms. **** is well documented across the industry. Most companies are not hiring Ms. **** simply because they see her as an unprofessional liability.
Lastly, regarding the request for a refund, I must reiterate that Ms. **** was never a client or customer of Flightess. Therefore, any refund requests should be directed to Aircare, as we have no record of Ms. **** as a client.
In conclusion, I stand by the truth of our statements and actions in this matter. I am committed to upholding the integrity of Flightess and this industry and ensuring that our training programs are accurately represented. I request the closure of this matter immediately as it is clear that Ms. **** is unwilling to take responsibility for her own actions and is seeking to blame innocent entities like Flightess.Business Response

Here is the screenshot of Ms. **** calling me "****" to her a fellow industry colleague, they sent me this directly, she was showing the screenshot to various industry Corporate Flight Attendants. She admits herself she doesn't even know what she paid for at AIRCARE FACTS. Not once does she say she paid Flightess. She knows she paid Aircare FACTS so her attempt to get a refund from Flightess is unjust and baseless.Customer Answer

Complaint: ********
I am rejecting this response because:Jaime ******, also known as "Flightess," has continuously failed to produce any shred of evidence regarding her unsupported claims I used “inappropriate or vile language with her”. Instead, she presents what can only be described as a haphazard conversation in which she or I play no discernible role in, yet she audaciously attempts to implicate me.
The persistent fabrication, surveillance, and harassment spanning the course of a year, aimed at unfounded allegations to align with a fabricated narrative, constitute a disturbing and obsessive pattern of behavior. Consequently, I found it imperative to formally report her actions to the Better Business Bureau. Regrettably, there exist other individuals in this industry akin to her, employing bullying tactics and vindictiveness, albeit lacking the same influential platform. However, she has deliberately chosen to exploit her platform to exploit her fixation on me.
Furthermore, she persistently disregards her documented communications with my manager and her orchestrated defamation campaigns, both of which have significantly jeopardized my professional reputation within the aviation industry. Instead, she consistently proffers irrelevant dialogues in a concerted effort to manipulate my statements into a context they do not merit. The persistent nature of her smear campaign is both petty and lamentable.
Jaime ******, attempts to manipulate my statements only serve to underscore my steadfast stance against all forms of bullying. With a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree, my dedication to advocacy, particularly in the realm of women's rights, is unwavering. Despite Jamie ******s endeavors to tarnish my reputation, numerous professionals within our industry have expressed gratitude for my advocacy efforts and extended their support. Additionally, several colleagues have brought to my attention Jaime ******‘s unprofessional behavior. In an industry predominantly populated by women, we regrettably encounter societal norms that foster competition and discord. Unfortunately, Jaime ****** subscribes to these deficiencies and is notorious for her bullying tactics and intellectual property infringement, often evading consequences due to her prominence within larger corporations.
The disruptive conduct of her malicious actions has effectively invalidated her course for which I was compelled to make payment, as she brazenly peddles it alongside mandatory FACTS training. It is her company's identity that is on my certification, and it is she whom individuals approach for confirmation of course completion. It is her course name and corresponding skill set, for which I made payment, that are duly listed on my résumé. Her deceit has led others to doubt my fulfillment of the requirements, thus imperiling my reputation within the aviation sector and rendering the course, “Business Aviation Hospitality with Flightess” inconsequential to my professional capabilities. Such reprehensible behavior leaves me with no recourse but to insist upon a complete reimbursement from her organization, “Flightess”.
Sincerely,
****** ****
